Or select another coach for Emmanuel D. Pacquiao Sr.

In Pacquiao's own words he was turned down by several American trainers.

His partnership with Roach has been great but I still wonder if another coach might have been better for Pacquiao after Marquez 2.

Name your pick and elaborate on your choice of trainer.

Robert Garcia. Even Nacho Beristein. They need to be offensive strategists, not weirdos like Virgil Hunter.

Roach is kind of a trash coach and I think Pac stays with him out of loyalty.

Roach teaches basics very well and is a mind master. Thats why the elite boxers work with him; he gives them space but keeps them grounded with basics and hard sparring.

Pac with Nacho Beristain would have been hilarious on visual level, but I think it would have been career limiting.

Unrelatedly, I think Hunter is and is going to do good for Buatsi but he's not what Pac needed in any recent time.

Virgil Hunter is an intelligent guy but the thing is he needs a guy on similar spectrum ala Andre Ward for the partnership to work , dumbasses like Khan or **** defenders like Buatsi won't see too much of an improvement.
