I believe it.He can't get any much bigger than beating Floyd or the poin where he is.
Altough if he losses he should have another fight and bring the whole HBO PPV thing to the Phillipines in a great event.

If he fights Floyd and wins he can retire and no-one can say - 'Oh well he didn't fight X' cause no-one compares to a PBF win, not even Mosley imo.
I don't see him retiring if he loses however, too much $$ for a rematch.

Seem's like JMM/Mayweather winner or bust.
    (sweepstakes is getting smaller now)

How much hate would he get if The proposed Cotto Vs.
goes thru & it is his final fight?

leaving the JMM/Mayweather winner hanging in the wind

This is the plan. I heard this from an insider.
After the November fight, he'll announce his retirement from boxing.
Run for office and win the election. Then, he'll consider returning
    to boxing.

JMM should be focusing on FLoyd and nothing else. Should he pull the upset he would probably jump to #1 on most PFP lists and this might convince PAC to fight him and retire at #1.

In regards to Pac thinking about retirement, thats never a good thing because once the thought of quitting has been planted in your head it could work against you in a tough fight(ie Cotto, Mosley).

Why don't you chastise Arum for saying that? He even said he is greater than Ali.:deal

maybe he is just saying that so that pretty can take off her panties and put on some briefs and take the fight.. its all head games the same way that pretty used when he said he was retiring after his 2 previous fights

Not yet. A win over Hatton is not going to place Pac ahead of JCC.

Maybe a win over PBF or a couple more solid wins at 140 may put him there!
