Seems like they retire - only to come back anyway.

I dont' see him retiring - think he's pulling a Floyd. Talking about retiring to enhance the PPV numbers for the fight. Not like it hasn't been done before. On top of that - there's a lot of money out there to still be made.

Damn thats some sad **** he's been talkin bout it for years.

If he woulda won the election last time we may not be talkin bout him now.

Its sad but I hope if he runs he loses so maybe we can see a few more great fights outta him.

I remember the first time watching him fight against Ledwaba it was just amazing you could tell he was something special, but never did I think he would become as good and popular as he is now.

He has truly evolved into a great fighter and its sad to see him go because I know he's a once in a lifetime fighter.

    Long live the King!

At least Floyd will be forced to fight a Welter if not hide behind retirement again.

Well, if it is Cotto, it will be better because this is the guy that Floyd ducked.

No duck no matter who he fights.

A duck is retiring when you have four worthy opponents with belts and retire.

Then comeback and not to fight them but a lightweight.

If he goes through with this he'll be back in a year because he'll be broke.

Well with the way he gives money away, who knows, If he retires and then comes back, his drawing power goes down and he's in the shadows of the King again!
