Pacquiao's fight at LW will come before the fight with Hatton (if it happens). It's the matter of WHICH LW champion he is fighting that I am questioning. So Hatton's retiring soon has nothing to do with it, since that fight's time frame isn't effected.

My issue is that you keep making excuse for not fighting Juan Diaz, then pushing the David Diaz fight. When your reasoning for not fighting Juan makes fighting David Diaz look even worse.

Lewis was the champion at the time, but I get your point. However, Jones DID want to fight Lewis after the Ruiz fight, and even Ruiz, as bad as he was, had beaten some decent fighters. I feel David Diaz has beaten absolutely no one except a shot Morales. But that is not the issue.

That point aside, I don't mind Pacquiao and his fans saying that David Diaz is the lesser risk at this point than Juan Diaz. I mind them saying that Juan is not ready for Pacquiao and needs to be more popular, then acting like David Diaz somehow fits the criteria, and somehow is a historical fight.

It is interesting to see that pac has been lined up to some great boxers. First things first. He should win over JMM.

    Pls continue your discussion....

As a Pac fan, I'm seriously dissapointed that Pac is not looking to fight Juan Diaz at all. I'm baffled why he would want to fight David Diaz when I feel the kid is still unproven(despite beating a shot Morales who still lasted all 12 rounds against him).

Honestly, I think it would be better for his legacy if he were to fight Juan instead of David. Hell, he would even make more money if he fights Juan(albeit not much money but still more money than against David). So I'm confused why he would want to fight David instead.

Is Pac actually afraid of Juan? Or is it more of a promotional problem between Top Rank and Don King? I don't know. But damn it would be ****ing sweet if Juan and Pac were to fight!!

As for Pac vs Hatton... uh I have to see Pac perform first in 135 before I can make any predictions. As of now, the Pacman has no chance against the Hitman.

Pac can make almost the same amount of money fighting David Diaz than he can against Juan. Maybe even more considering that Juan would probably seek a bigger share of the purse, even though it would be a bigger purse it might not result in more money for Pac because of Juan's share.

Add to that the fact that David Diaz is a guaranteed win, and the WBC title holder, its no surprise that Pac's handlers would rather see him fight David Diaz than Juan, especially if they have big money long term plans (against Hatton for example) that could be thrown off with a loss or an unsatifactory win.

please note that i am not agreeing or disagreeing with the way Pac is being managed, simply explaining it.

KG you Pray that D Diaz lose his next fight so you can get what you're wishing for. Pac already said he knows how to beat Juan Diaz. As I'm saying Juan needs some cooking before you feed him to Pac. When Pac went for MAB & EM, those guys are the top attraction.

Pac taking D diaz is Toprank choice, not my choice. But I won't mind Pac taking it instead of Juan coz I'm looking forward for The Hatton fight. You gotta give Pac some breaks, thats MAB, JMM, D Diaz & Hatton in a Row. 3 of them top 10 P4p in a row. As a Fan I can't complain with that tough schedule.

If Pac beats JMM..His legacy is set...He can fight who the **** he wants...whether its low risk or for solely the loot.
I wonder all these fighters who calls PAC out..how they get so much juice among ESB posters..not one who calls PAC out have a resume and accomplishments who comes close to PACs.

Furthermore...most of these guys are calling PAC out contingent to having PAC do something like move up..move down do this..do that..

I understand the game, how guys who really has no big money fights in the near or far future like Guzman, Diaz, Casa have to make noise..but ESB buying this amazes me. And it galls me to get myself upset at this.

The question often ignored...why cant these guys get big money fights? whos fault is that? Look I grew up watching SRL/Hearns..Hagler/Hearns...Arguello/Pryor..fights are made..this is boxing!!

I wonder if PAC ever calls someone out..God forbid
..would that make him a better fighter?

from 122...PAC moved up to 126 and his first fight was MAB...Gosh if that doesnt tell you anything about this man whats more to discuss?..certainly not PAc stepping out to Juan Diaz

Geez next thing we know PAC should fight Pavlik and whatever his accomplishemts were in his "real weight" is conveniently forgotten.

This only happens to Manny... Everyone fondly recalls what a beast Shane was at LW so was Floyd at SFW... while PAC if he doesnt fight Joan Guzman..he hasnt accomplished nothing.

122? did PAC even boxed at that weight?

Yeah, that's a good point. But what's you opinion Pharoah would you rather have Pac fight Juan instead of David for his legacy? or are you in agreement with Pac fighting David?

So what if those fighters call out pac. They want their break just like pac got against MAB. WTF is wrong with Guzman calling out pac when their in the same division and Guzman is the next best fighter after pac and JMM? I wont argue that they mostly want to fight pac because of the payday. Manny is a beast in three weight classes, his accomplishments are highly regarded. At 122 he was dominant but he only managed to become a title holder. Pac is the most exciting fighter in the game, ESB is just selfish when they complain about the all the pac vs (insert name from 122-135 here) not happining.
