Last legit challenge was Mosley? Old man Mosley cant even beat Mora, and he can barely breathe in the ring. Pacquiao had him running around the ring, trembling with the fear of a prey. Floyd's last challenge was past-prime Oscar, and his best win is ATG Corrales.
Leave TOP RANK and run after a Mayweather-related promotion to sign one big fight?. Don't worry, Pacquiao isn't stupid nor desperate.
You are, of course, speaking in hindsight, and I agree to what you're saying. When the Mosley fight was signed however, there was no Mora fight yet. The last fight that Mosley had was where he brutally KO'd iron chinned Margarito. The only "question mark" that the FMJ-Mosley fight had was Mosley was coming off of a long layoff. That's it. Mosley was a legit contender to FMJ at the time they fought. I give Mayweather full props for taking that fight. And apparently it was the last time I will give him props for the fights that he will be taking.
Just to point out to the TS, TMT no longer exists. 50c now runs SMS promos and Floyds promo company is now Mayweather Promotions. Just sayin'
so number 6 P4P fighter needs to fight in undercard?:admin and your suggestion of the money split is ******.pacquaio is number 2 draw in boxing, behind floyd.say fight against khan generates 1,2 million buys.and fight against pac generates 2,5 millions.i would say pac is ****** if he accepts that. would you take the fight if you know your namevalue would add 70-80mil more to the fight and still you get peanuts? this fight should be close 50/50 purse.why? because pac brings the money to table. and by the way i'm floyd fan.but i understand little bit about the moneyside and honor.pac taking that kind offer screams:i'm manny pacquiao and i am floyd's *****,he fooled me bigtime.but it's okay because i do this only for my fans or something like that so STFU and stop this nonsense
REPORTED BY WHO? SOME OTHER HACK! So Showtime is not going to make any money? What about Golden Boy?:bart
Well.. I know actual math is hard for some people so here we go, let me help you. If the fight generated 180 million dollars. Which it did. 41 for Floyd for his purse. and 39 million for PPV would be roughly 80 million dollars. You subtract Canelo's purse from that which was 12 million no PPV. So thats. 180 mill - 80 mill - 12 mill Would leave you with 88 million dollars in remaining revenue. Apart of that goes to Floyd for his promotional work, since it was also a Mayweather event (he is his greatest product) And the rest goes to Golden Boy/Showtime Are you slow or? Oh and that hack was Forbes. Only the most respected Business and Finance mag in the world. google: Floyd Mayweather Forbes Its the second result.
Maybe not desperate, but definitely stupid for allowing that evil garden Gnome Arum to **** his pockets for years.
