He should be given credit for his 126lb days. He beat the main man in Barerra and got a draw with Marquez which he should of won if not for the mistake of a Judge. He was the main man at 126 but he's not getting credit for it.

Most fans give him credit for his reign at Featherweight anyway.

His 135 belt shouldn't count really, he beat a paper champ.

lol, can't wait to hear from you after pac thrashes campbell or casamayor.
Thank you for coming out of your hiding hole reedman.

Morales fought the same guy. Had he won, you'd be giving him credit for a win.

He gets credit for the win but for his reign at lightweight to hold credibility he needs to fight the winner of Campbell/Guzman then the winner of Marquez/Casa.

I don't agree that he should have to fight both of those winners but 1 of the 2 should be just fine for him to get any credit at 135.

should he move up to 140 to face Hatton and he loses, he can always come back down and attempt to clean house at 135 again. I think that's whats Arum's plans are. If Pac wins at 140..he still comes back at 135 to take care of unfinished business.

Why does he need to fight anyone to gain credibility?

Those guys haven't accomplished anything near what he has and he's solidified his superstar status with the win last night.

I don't think he has anything to prove at LW ...

If not for MAB's Dispute with the ABC's, Pac would defo be a 5 time
    "ABC" champion.
But he defo has been the Lineal champ in every division.
IMO, Pac put his stamp in the lightweight's last night.

he should be favorved against any of the top lightweight's.
[And prob be the bigger man in the ring, he was @ 147 last night...]

Even if Marquez won every round ... you can't escape the three knockdowns in the first round. Often times no matter what Marquez wouldve done ... its hard to seperate those knockdowns from whatever Marquez does throughout the other 11.

After the first all Pac had to do was win like two rounds to even up the fight.

going back to the 126 problem...people don't give Pacman credit for being the first out of the big 3 (MAB, MOrales, and Pac) to take on JMM immediately after the MAB beatdown. Morales and MAB avoided JMM for years.

Just who exactly was left in that division besides JMM after MAB and Morales moved up in weight?

If I remember correctly, it was larios, Injin Chi, Scott Harrison and Alex Arthur that would have been formidable foes for the Pac. 126 weight division by th time Pac arrived wasn't necessarily loaded.
