-He already has the wbo belt
-berto has a belt, and is already a possible pac opponent
    - senchenko is a possible alvarez opponent,
Alvarez will beat senchenko, let pac fight mosley first, we all know it happens anyway, in the mean time berto faces zavec, one of them will end op with 2 belts. Pac then fights berto, beats him and will have 2 belts.
Then face undefeated Saul Alvarez and win and unify.
Undisputed champion then. in early 2012. Then retire, status: legendary

IS this the best way to cash on his last two fights though? I doubt it.

He already has enough money to let him and his grandchildren live like kings in the philippines even if he ended up being 200 years old.
Im getting tired with boxers who keep talking about money when they already are loaded, I get it for guys like khan whoa re coming up or guys liek martinez who are just on the big scene when they are relatively old. But pacquiao should not even worry about money anymore, legacy > money at this point in his carreer even though is legacy is cemented it can definitely get even more great, and yes this also applies to floyd.

And by the way, Mosley-Berto- is a locigal step anyway right? Saul Alvarez is one of the hottest prospects in boxing next year he will be ready in my opinion. Why not give the guy a shot and make him cash in big, he might take over as the next cash cow. I think that fight would easily reach plus one mil ppv numbers. Not that I care about that a lot but still.

I really don't share your opinion mate. I don't want to see another great prospect step up too soon like Vargas. Pac is monster and Alvarez won't be ready in one year. They are moving him fine now I hope they will not get greedy for the money a Pac fight offers. They should keep him active and make him fight different styles at this point of his career.

If Alvarez beats pacquiao he will become one of the biggest names in boxing right in the beginning of his carreer.
It worked wel for guys like vitali and ali

Crap for the fans, but good for the fighters who receive the payday of their life
Losing their belt to the P4P no1 wouldn't be so bad after all!!

How exactly? Lets assume Floyd fight doesnt happen, what else does he have to do? the marquez rematch will be at 147, that is not fair to marquez and will give pac as much credit as leonard for beating duran in their third fight.
Who else is their? Bradley will be for khan, and khan will never fight pacquiao, he also wont move down to 140 or up to 154 ever again. This really is his best option in my eyes, he will seal his legacy as undisputed welterweight champ. Make good money vs mosley, clotteytype money vs berto and good money sv alvarez. Common sense!

Bob and Roavh wont care about Pacs legacy. They do care about money. I think Roach is pritty happy with what Pac has done now its just cash in time.

I don't think Pac is after belts... belts are meaningless. Besides Berto, I don't think Senchenko or Zaveck deserve to be mentioned in the same league as Pac... Despite being beltholders, who have they faced to earn such a payday or a showdown with the no1 P4P.

Pac won't fight that often anymore and is closer to his retirement. I think 2 big fights and it's game over for Pac, happy retirement...

Yes. The way I see it, the logical step is to have Mosley fight Berto. And Pac should fight JMM at 144-147. The two finalists meet and assuming Pac wins, he can either retire or have one last fight against any of these guys: Alvarez, Martinez, the winner of the 140lb tournament, a darkhorse who emerges exponentially (maybe Rios? Brook? Ortiz?)

    Still it's weird, imagine:

    Pac VS Zaveck
    SUPERFIGHT IBF-WBO Unification

Sounds a little rubbish, I think these kind of fights would hurt Pac's legacy by wasting time fighting paper champions, despite being an unification...
