Pac sued Floyd not because he was asked to take a blood test. He is suing for baseless accusations hurled at him months before negotiations even began. The lawsuit should have no bearing on the fight. The lawsuit could be dismissed easily if Floyd and his team do just what Oscar and Golden Boy did by saying they didn't really accuse him of anything. By not doing that, Floyd really is telling everyone yeah I meant everything I said when we called Pac a cheat, though we don't have any proof and don't care if Pac loses fans and revenue because of what we said. If Floyd apologizes, lawsuit will be dropped. Floyd can still ask for a blood test without accusing, just like Tyson did with Holyfield.
I"ve known, and have been saying all along, even before the OSDT thing became an issue, that Floyd never wanted any of Pac and would come up with some way to not fight him. He's done it for every significant challenge he could've faced since moving up past 135. I still believe it. The fight won't happen. Which is why I'm glad Manny is suing, and I hope he wins in court, at least Floyd will finally have to pay for being a cherry picker and making all the excuses he did for the last decade-plus of his career for not fighting the worthiest challengers. Finally his excuse making may cost him something.
That has nothing to do with anything being discussed here. Hopkins got same treatment as Pac, will handle situation the same as Pac. Yet, no Hopkins is a ***** threads for suing to be seen from same people who call Pac a *****. :think
YAWN...the lawsuit is garbage, anyway. There's much more to be accomplished by getting the fight made.
Drop the PEDs accusations then and apologize. A very simple thing for Floyd to do, ask for Pacquiao's forgiveness... Floyd/Mayweathers started this so they should end this...:hi:
Floyd will go down in history as being the greatest coward to have laced them up. *****s can bleat and bleat and desperately bleat. Doesn't change a thing. They are in love with a coward. History will not be kind to Floyd, and his fans will be a laughing stock until the end of time.
The difference is Hopkins already fought Pascal...TWICE. Pascal could have requested random testing before the contracts were signed. Instead he waited until the second fight was already made to do so...and called into question Hopkins's integrity, during the promotion of the fight. Two different scenarios. But, I still consider Hopkins pursuit of a defamation lawsuit the same as Pac's....bull****. Hopkins should let it go and move on...unless Pascal is harassing him in some way with these statements, IMO.
Boxing is subjective and there's never usually a definitive right or wrong answer, but in this case, you're wrong. History will be very kind to Floyd. And Pac (not that I needed to mention that, just wanted to make that clear).
