Ellis is a good pick. Haven't seen much of Sims.

Ellis is really fast, but he's an aggressive fighter, whereas Floyd is more defensive. I believe he can mimic Mayweather style fairly decently if he's asked to.

They both suck, imo. They're raw, rugged, offensive, and nothing like Floyd. Nothing. I don't understand why they would get someone to mimic Floyd rather than find someone who actually uses his style to fight.

Sims is an accurate puncher but yeah he leans more on the offensive side. Maybe they'll work on timing on shots rather than breaking the defense? Roach has faced Floyd multiple times so I think he knows what he's doing. Lets just see..

They are good to help Manny deal with floyd's quick punches and get his timing down..how are yall going to argue with Roach when he has trained for 20+ years...Plus he said he has 4 more for the rest of the camp! Rashidi Ellis..is pretty good...he needs to bring back the guy from Bradley 2

What about hiring JMM? I bet he could give some brilliant insight on Pac's flaws.

This. These guys are ATG fighters for a reason. Not just going to get some random guy to mimic them. They can try, but it's going to fall way short of the real thing.

I do agree it is easier to find somebody who utilizes the Michigan defense more than it is to find somebody to mimic Pacquiao's style though. Pac's style is unique. Funadmentally, it's not correct, but Manny is a bit of a freak of nature. i.e - Good luck finding somebody who was taught to fight like Manny.
