then why did floyd called pac if you think pac is so powerless in making this fight?

you admitted that it's a step in the right direction so would you also admit that whatever they talked on the phone would be very important on how this fight would get made or at least how to set-up and start a negotiations for the fight?

Arum wouldn't answer the phone, he said so himself. :conf

Might as well give Pac a call.

arum won't answer schaefer's call since he wants to negotiate directly with floyd who is his own boss. we all know this. if floyd called arum to make the fight, arum would guarantee this fight be made in an instant, if GBP is not involved.

also floyd called koncz which passed it to pacquiao. koncz was said to be arum's spy according to some floyd fans. why would floyd call arum's spy?

You're arguing with a fat ass troll who thinks Pacquiao offered Floyd something first. Don't do it. This mother****er will be up all night trolling, lmfao.

Why do you think he called. To apply more public pressure to make the fight. Floyd throws a number at Manny. Manny likes what he hears and says he agrees. Manny tells Arum and at the same time the public and media will know about it. That is pressure from all sides on Arum to make the fight.

HENCE HE WILL BE FORCED TO START NEGOTIATIONS. And you never know what changes in the contract would be made. Once again, numbers can be adjusted to make both fighters happy and this is when that happens.

Unfortunately Pacquiao didn't take the bait. If he had just got off his ass and told Arum to pick up the phone when GB comes calling then it would have never even gotten this far. Remember, in the beginning Pac stated to the media about how he believed the fight was close to being done for May 5th. He was completely fine with the date and place. What was Arum actually doing though? You see how clueless Pac is on the matters of his own boxing career?

do you expect pac to take the bait with an offer that does not give him any PPV upside and where floyd takes all of it?

floyd knows very well that with his offer, pac would not accept it. if pac offers floyd the same guarantee and floyd refused, what will you say about pacquiao?

You got 2 sides telling different stories on this. Pac says he wasn't given the PPV option. Floyd has said that that wasn't even discussed in the call. So its up to who you believe. But that is why promotion team's negotiate. Which is why, like I said, I believed this call was a ploy to get Arum's ass to the negotiating table. Nothing more. 2 boxer's can't write up the contracts.

What did Floyd tell Koncz at his gym? He likes what he hears but that Koncz needs to talk to Haymon or GB. Not him. Did Koncz make contact? Nope. Did Arum make contact after Floyd informed him about who he should negotiate with? Nope.

I say again, the call was an attempt by Floyd to get the negotiation started. Floyd knows damn well Arum has to be involved. But since Arum won't answer the calls, what is there left to do but go straight to the source.

And let me remind you AGAIN. Floyd has been trying to get a bigger purse from the beginning but whenever they negotiate he would cave. Why? Don't know. But like I said numbers can be adjusted accordingly to make everybody happy and that takes place during NEGOTIATIONS.

Now if you can't understand that then I can't do a thing for you.

so can you give us accounts that floyd offered a PPV upside?

so let me get this, pac should ahve accepted floyd's offer and proceed with the negotiations. and then upon negotiations, pac would adjust his demand to 50/50 again?

this would be basically idiotic since floyd would just ay that pac has agreed to a lesser split when they talked personally on phone. that's basically a gentleman's agreement and you want pac to agree on floyd's offer? why not floyd agreeing to pac's 50/50 offer which is the fairest offer and then floyd tries to adjust it then on actual negotiatons?

either way, floyd looks bad rejecting the 50/50 when pac offered him for this fight.

Based on everything that has come out of Pacquiao's mouth about this fight. I'm inclined to belive he's lying.

lol they are having a power meeting. So far the funniest post I've seen is that Floyd getting all ppv and Pac only getting 40mil is an even split and the person/poster actually said he did the math. :rofl

That's ASSuming that the fighters will receive 100% of the revenue generated from the fight, which is incorrect.

The fact is neither of these dickheads are seriously interested in making this fight. Both are just pandering to the media as usual, and only their idiotic fanboys are buying into their bull****.
