Pacquiao starts training for Marquez fight today

    yeah but mayweather made him look worse than he was I think, he will do better against pacquiao because of their styles.
    I dont expect him to win but he will do better than vs mayweather.
    If there is anyone out there that deserved to fight pacquiao its marquez, this fight will give everyone closure and marquez gets his well deserved chance and payday. It doesnt realy matter if pac would have fought marquez instead of margarito or mosley imo.
    Most people will think like you do and wont give pac any credit if he wins at this weight so that makes it a great chance for marquez, if he somehow wins it will be very epic and if he loses it was expected and wont hurt his legacy at all.
    One thing I know for sure is that marquez is coming in and will give 200% therefore I would never count him out.

    small correction Floyd fought Marquez at the full WW limit, not at the 144 catchweight.

    And anyways Floyd is way bigger than Marquez while the difference in size between Pac and Marquez is much smaller.

    Also, styles make fights!

    that being said, boxing fans being what they are, Pac has little to gain from this fight. But I'm just happy to see two of my favorite fighters step in the ring and give it their best.

    That speed your talking about was at 126 and 130.... What makes you think Marquez has the same speed especially at this weight???

    so if you think it has left him at 135, then no used in crying for a third fight then. pacquiao has already fought him twice at 126 and 130. pac already moved-up to 135 and above and same as marquez.

    but i would love for jmm to have another crack at pac. he might not win but he would surely give pac trouble again. these 2 would produce great fights no matter what.

    It would be nice if pac fought in the phillipines once again, if he doesnt fight may next why not make the bradley fight there, get the biggest stadium in the country and fill it up with many people. Seems to me everyone there would love that.

    yes pacquiao should have his farewell fight here. there is no big stadium here that can fill 20k or more but they can always use an open field to accommodate more than 100k people. the araneta coliseum can do the job but it can only fill around 10k to 15k and that would mean exorbitant price that would defeat the purpose of letting as many pinoys watch him fight live.

    i would be glad even with a katsidis or maybe a maidana type of opponent for a coming home fight.
