Could it be Pacquiao did'nt feel strong enough vs Marquez who weighed 150 lbs on fightnight? Pacquiao never landed a really clean hard shot on Marquez, but he did land a few good ones that never moved Marquez. This could be a situation coming of the Marquez fight that team Pacquiao may feel that Pacquiao needs a little bit of more added mass against a better skilled fighter in Bradley than the fighters Pacquiao has been destroying. Add to that, Bradley is a fighter that has been known to use his upper body to muscle fighters around. This may have come into play by team Pacquiao in readying Pacquiao to come in a little heavier. Then again, it could be Pacquiao just had a good solid meal before the official weighin!
He looked a little softer than usual. This could just be an illusion though as hes standing next to a physical specimen of the quality that he hasn't been in direct comprison with before.
What reason was there to dry him out in the first place when Pacquiao was coming in under the weight limit??? The answer was there was no reason, he was always hydrated. Team Pacquiao is just coming out with bogus excuse after bogus excuse. If Pacquiao loses to Bradley, Pacquiao and Roach will blame Ariza for weighing in heavy and abandoning Pacquiao when he was training in the Phillipines.:nut
There's a difference between an average Joe following the Vegan diet, and a pro Athlete. Tim Bradley probably has a cook and nutritionist, so he gets regular meals made for him. And also, he has the money to afford a vegan diet.
I believe that Pacquiao said in an interview that they abandoned the Plymetrics and power training for the Marquez fight, but they are going to use that training in this fight.
......and if Pacquiao said it, it must be true? Give me a ****ing break, abandon something that was working in his previous fights and do it against the fighter that previously had schooled him twice??? nutlol: Bottom line, with or without plyometrics, Pacquiao has been coming in under the weight limit, he weighed at the limit this time!
wouldn't read too much on it pac didn't have to drain weight so i don't see much jump come fight night.
Apparently Pac just ate a meal before the weigh in. Though it's strange, Pac weighs in at heaviest ever, but seems to have lost bulk.
That's from the Str coach. So I'd go with that. Besides I don't think Ariza is the type to bull**** around.
