I don't get why this is new to a lot of clueless fans. Whenever a fighter gets knocked out cold he is FORCED to take time off the sport/gym.

One thing boxing gets right. I'm a big fan of this.

However, if Arum wanted to stage a fight I'm sure he could find a corrupt commission to sanction it. Texas, Mexico, etc...

Of course he could, there are always ways around boxing "rules". However, don't expect him to do that to the biggest name in his stable by far. He will give him the amount of time off necessary and more.

I sincerely hope so. Just adding some clarification to your statement.

People don't realize either of those scenarios.

Oh he knows, I assure you that. Though considering his age, he might have clearly slipped off plans he had ahead of this fight if the result wasn't as bad as it turned out to be. I'm sure you know that promoters and match-makers always plan ahead of schedule, that's what they're paid and expected to do. In this case, expect the April date to be scrapped off or replaced with other fighters in his stable, Bradley is a good candidate there.

Brain tests really? A box of rocks has a higher IQ than PEDcquiao. He has no brain. I think he needs butt tests, cuz he got butt hurt.

Don't understand how a commision can stop somebody merely working out or training... if he dies from a blood clot training then only he solely can be held responsible.

Btw Pacquiao FAILED an IQ test not long ago LOOOOL

"Manny how many moons does the earth have?"
"It's up to my promotor Bob Arum"

Good thing then, Manny cannot pass an IQ test. He'd sleep during the test.
