If JMM was taller with an iron chin then he really would be the stylistic nightmare, right now hes just a bad matchup. Morales in his prime if he chose to box is the worst matchup for Pac. A guy who can take his punches, outbox him and provide the height problem for Pac.

 

No, because Hearns also had one of the best jabs ever, which helps negate speed. His height plus his incredible boxing ability was a stylistic nightmare for any slick boxer.

 

i'd like to know in your opinion what would be a bad style matchup for Leonard.

 

pryor vs arguello people though pryor would play into arguellos straight right counter and be knocked out later. But the hawk knocked alexis silly.

If pacman happens to beat jmm its trully a great win and if they insult pac that means they insult JMM.

and JMM is one of the greatest counter punchers of our era! everyone was scared of jmm before pacman fought him morales, barrera, hamed because they knew how dangerous counter puncher he was...but pacman said ok lets fight and he didnt give a damn or was scared and he was super competitive and ever since then jmm hasnt been the same kinda guy mentally.

While pacquiao is growing his counter right hook is a thing of beauty and when he is 100 percent or even 90 percent he is a force of nature.

 

Hearns with a chin...in which case his only bad style matchup would be God the fighter was so complete it would take another complete fighter on another level to beat him on his best night. Having said that, I think Pryor would have given him fits.

Thing is with the Manny JMM matchup - Is that Manny pretty muich used his pre Morales I style where it was basically an energizer bunny moving in and out all night throwing the left with not a lot of finese otherwise.

Manny has improved both his defense - As displayed in the Barerra bout as well as the offensive output - Manilla ice - that was so effective in the two Morales rematches.

 

that manilla ice is a nice tool, because he fools them they dont expect it I remember he wobbled hector velasquez and morales with that counter right. They expect that straight left so thats what most of them are looking for but when he added that counter right and side stepping to the opposite side after its hard to counter him.

 

I guess the telling thing with JMM is that he is also a southpaw and it will be interesting to see if the Ice melts against a fellow, tight defensive southpaw.

 

the reason I think JMM will lose is cause watch his fights with 2 southpaws after pacquiao he was getting tagged too many times iwth straight lefts when he fought that thai fighter his eye was swollen from getting hit with lefts all day.

and then jimrex jaca was able to touch jmm with left hands and he has soft hands.

and both these guys are not even top caliber guys.

but against rocky jaurez marco looked impressive but thats cause rocky jaurez is the turtle he is so slow and inactive it was easy for jmm especially since rocky is short.
