Pac admits he would rather fight floyd in court than take a drug test to make the fight.

This was published in an interview two days ago... here's the link (spanish) http://www.lamazonyelboxeo.com/2011/08/beristain/

"Marquez hasn't been able to defeat Pacquiao because he doesn't have any respect for him..: everytime he's near Pacquiao he says to him ... "come, come that I'm going to whoop your ass" and I say : "That's just wrong Juan Manuel"

What the ****? That doesn't sound like something JMM would say (perhaps in private yes), and it really doesn't sound like something Nacho would disclose to the public; nor does it make sense for him JMM hasn't won "properly" because of a lack of respect.

He also is quoted to have said Marquez would weigh in at 139lbs against Pacquiao, and this little gem:

“El Chino era un gato borracho, arañaba en lugar de pegar, y Roach le educó los golpes, lo puso en otro nivel”.

"The chinese one (meaning Pacquiao; a crude way many Latins refer to Asians, but seldom Filipinos) was a drunken cat, he scratched (pawed?) instead of hit, and Roach educated his punches, he put him on another level."

Or: “Qué Monzón ni qué Galíndez, el mejor boxeador argentino que yo he visto es el Maravilla Martínez, peleadorazo, pero los pendejos no se dan cuenta”.

"What about Monzon, Galindez? the best Argentine boxer I have seen is Maravilla Martinez, super fighter, but the idiots don't realize it."

Since when does Nacho say such random and harsh things?

Interesting interview if true, but I'm skeptical that Nacho gave those quotes. I'd have to see footage.

Well Eduardo Lamazon is one of the top boxing minds in Mexico, and I've seen footage of Beristain saying stuff like this in the past, I'm convinced is true.

Who did not show up in the court?

The complaint to GBP has been dropped already, and Pacman want the test.

:rofl For the most part Nacho is a respectful guy, but he will be truthful and blunt at times. Remember that mock jury they were having with Canelo and Oscar, Bogo? My respect for Beristein tripled by the way he was being brutally honest in the face of Sulaiman and Oscar. They were things that needed to be said, but no one ever addressed them. I loved that show.

    Emmanuel and Roach knew that:

Oscar was already on the road to retirement and had been having financial troubles with his charity and Golden Boy and had to suffer through the photo scandal. All of which had taken a toll.

Hatton had weight issues and liked to drink far too much in the off period between fights. Roach and co knew that he would kill himself making weight normally and quickly worked out that he would be a ghost if fighting under his 'usual weight' - that he was already having trouble making. Hatton was also having training camp issues which you can be certain Roach knew of. An added bonus!

Cotto was damaged goods after Margo pounded him with concrete and blew his confidence in trading and engaging. He also had training camp issues in fact it's oft quoted that Cotto trained himself.

Clottey was a joke. Stood there and threw nothing - possibly paid to lose. Pac couldn't finish the job though.

Margo, ruined by the loaded gloves scandal and a long lay off to think about it a little too much. Came back in shape but missing his heart and balls.

Mosley lost his edge after being spanked in the early rounds by Mayweather. You could literally see him jittering and afraid to throw as he was tasting too much leather in return. Mayweather ruined his confidence so much that he barely scraped through against a bum in Mora and again Roach and co lept on him as a dangerous opponant for Manny. Mosley was the epitome of the phrase 'getting old in the ring' when he faced Mayweather, he literally withered in front of our eyes.

The court case against Mayweather and constant excuses about negotiations are all aimed at draining Floyd ahead of a potential fight - which may never happen anyway. Team Pac are taking no chances with this one but I would say it's a safe bet the case gets dropped right at the last possible moment to prevent Manny's name being further associated with PEDs in the world's press. Of course the cheating ******* will be assuming the damage will already have been done at that point.
