Not sure if this is old news, it cant be that old anyway as Im sure this interview took place after the Pac/DLH fight.
Pac-man says Morales & Marquez hit him hardest in his career... Morales was the toughest & Morales was most difficult.

Im not suprised, all you have to do is look at his only loss in the past 8 or 9 yrs, the 1st Morales fight.

Just thought I would share that with you guys as a Morales fan :D
Its on youtube but I dont have a clue how to post links etc.

Should help put to bed this idiotic myth about how Morales was "shot" by his 2nd fight with Pacquiao.

He wasnt shot in the second fight but you could see the fight draining out of him , it was his last big effort ( and shown by the kicking in the third fight ).

Man I cannot wait for the Hatton fight !

i wouldnt say he was shot... but that was not Morales at his best, im sure everyone can agree to that. Morales was done at the elite stage at that point IMO... though was still a rugged warrior who i dont think anyone but pac would have put it on him like that with that result.

not suprising, given that morales beat pac more convingly than anyone in his prime. their 1st fight was great, one of my favorites.

very true kirk. morales was far from his best in that fight, but he certainly was'nt shot. a shot fighter does'nt take 3-4 rounds in that fight.

I think if you take away the fact that JMM was floored 3 times in the first round......I would think that most folks would say that JMM controlled Pacquiao better and boxed better than Morales did in his first fight with Pac.

Not a big deal, honestly they both took a schooling to Pac.

.....an to credit Pac, that ******* is tough as nails, he took the best both had to offer without going into survival mode.

......I love that about Pac....whether he's winning or getting beat the crap out of.....he's there fighting no matter what!:yep

Why is it a myth? Morales had been in decline even before the 1st Pacquao fight.

He was not shot though. That he was shot is a myth. That's why I said that.

to be honest divac, my boy doesnt think his fight with your boy his toughest. the credit goes with eric morales.

now, that schooling word again... seems it gives you some " gives my self a comforting feeling after pac floored my boy four times and took away his belt" thing. thats why many people think you are delusional. morales even won by 2 points.:lol::lol:

Shot is a word that is used to frequently.

Morales was'nt shot for the 2nd Pac fight, but he had declined significantly imo.
.......he had slowed in every way, speed and reflexes.....and his stamina was decaying as well.

They call MAB shot, but I believe he can still beat most of the contenders, just not the elites. He is significantly declined, but not shot!

Fact is even the Morales that beat Pac was not a prime EM. Erik had been through many wars that accelerated his decline faster than, say, MAB. You could clearly see that his reflexes were gone by the Raheem fight.

Frankly, the phrase 'shot' is abused here.
