Until marquez defeats a legit 140 lber pac fans will say he dont deserve a fight against pac and i would agree to some extent as he is not the same fighter he was at the lower weights but you can never count marquez out i seriously believe he gives pac his toughest fight yet again even if he hits the canvas.Pac vs Marquez needs to happen at 140.

I think Marquez should have gotten the fight. **** maybe even Berto. But after them Mosley deserves this fight more than Bradley or Alexander.

Let the Junior welters battle it out and the top one should fight Pac.

We seen Marquez give Pacquiao hell, literally. Marquez moves his head a little bit, he throws punches, you know.. he doesn't shell up or just follow fighters around, he steps over and moves his head whilst throwing his own punches. He's in the line of fire many times but he often gets what he wants, which is the target.

I agree. And even if the fight itself is easy, the way Pac trains, it takes its toll.

Which is why, taking fights like this is even MORE stupid at this stage of his career.

stupid for him, but great for his fans. I'd rather see him fight even Mosley than stay inactive fighting once every 18 months just to avoid taking a toll on his body.

boxing is a tough sport no doubt. Pac has had nearly 60 pro fights, turned pro when he was 15 years old. He's paid his dues at this point yet continues to remain pretty active.

    :huh

While it's great to have these guys in the ring as much as possible...it's not great to see them slurring their words and shaking from Parkinson's. But, to each his own, I guess.

I think kirk made an excellent point.

Do you have tattoos? He never said he was afraid of needles, Ariza did. And tattoo needles are nothing like getting your blood drawn. You bleed but the needles don't sit in your veins while blood drains out.

Its not a choice between fighting Mosley or 'staying out for 18 months.' Its about choosing meaningful fights at this point in his career, the point where we may just be counting on one hand not only how many fights Pac has left period, but especially how many he will be performing at his usual level. And possibly taking shelf life off his career at this stage, for meaningless fights.
