This content is protected Bear with me now, it's only a ten second clip (the first ten seconds actually) of the vid and I don't understand Tagalog so forgive me for not listening to the audio of this video: it is barreras reaction to Marquez Pacquiao part 4. (Somewhere out there is a better version of this clip) anyway why did mab look so unenthusiastic over Pacquiao getting blitzed? He didn't even get out of his chair. These are the only possibilities I can think of, (insert opinion here) but I'll allow you guys to take first dibs at it. Why was Marco Antonio Barrera so unfazed by Pacquiao getting knocked out by Juan Manuel Marquez? Once again sorry for the poor vid.
I've worked as a Psychologist my entire career and this question cannot be answered without extensive time being spent with Mr. Barrera. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of tiny things that make up how a human being acts any given day. Perhaps Barerra didn't want to show any emotion like defendants as the verdict is being read in court. Perhaps he was high. You will never know and starting rumors and speculation is twitter nonsense for fourteen year old girls.
I'd say it's because Barrera was arguably the greatest Mexican at around those weights of that era and really he should have beaten Marquez when they fought if he didn't get a point taken for punching him after he knocked him down. Marquez finally beating Pacquiao pushed him above Barrera in most people's opinions.
Didn’t want another fighter, especially a Mexican one, to get one over him. Could be that, or maybe not.
