You can not find one medical researcher that has done a live test on a human subject. The medical field denied steroids even worked until the early 80.. Research with out testing is equivalent to reading a book on Boxing and thinking you can take on a real champ.
If you want to get to know the nuts and bolts of roid, then I suggest you talk to the people who use them. The internet is full of discussion boards.

No that a good place for you too start, but I would suggest you find something less technical, that way you understand it..

so is berth control pills and most asthma medications what your point.

To be fair, you must distinguish between blood elimination half life and absorption half life.
Tesosterone is eliminated from the blood in minutes, while when using testosterone creams once it is rubbed into the skin it must cross the epidermis and diffuse into tissues and this is where absorption half life comes in.
Once you rub it in, the testosterone cream will have a half life of 2 hours. Meaning let's say your T levels are 1000 nd/dl and you wanted to double that, you can rub in the cream on a one time only application and have T levels 2000 for 2 hours and after 2 hours it will be 1500, after 4 hours 1250, eventually returning to normal after 4 half lives or 8 hours.

This is all kind of irrelevant though, because in long term use, it decreases the secretion of endogenous testosterone, so you could be in a supraphysiological range for most of your fight, and an hour later have normal T levels if you stop the cream 2 hours before a fight.

based on rooney's logic, pac will just abandon taking illegal substance if he agrees to take drug test. do you agree? :think

Wow floyd fans are fast becoming the most idiot fans in ESB. Pacquiao has been weighing at 144-146 lbs since his third bout with Morales. the last time he weighed at 106 lbs he was 16 years old lol, at 19, he couldn't even make the flyweight limit. Kill yourself please, spare us of your ignorance lol

    why?

i'm just saying that if he (rooney) thinks that way, he should also realize that the same thing could be also applied to floyd, that he will just abandon steroids, or whatever that is, that's why he agrees to undergo blood test.

oh my bad, i forgot he's ellerbe.

Given enough time yes anyone can. When you are talking world class boxers, most people reach their peak at 30 in terms of muscle mass.

It's not very rare at all, look at Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, similar body types and their bodies went through remarkable changes too. Or would you say they were on steroids too?

You can gain 20lbs of muscle per year without steroids if you have good genes. Thats about 2lbs of muscle a month.

If Floyd can gain weight, and Oscar can gain weight, and Hopkins can gain weight, nobody is accusing them of steroids.

I took your advice and checked a roid forum. :admin that's the same thing I said, I couldn't believe it either.

    SECTION B – STEROID BASICS
These are the basic scientific facts. Which you should care about, really, if you’re going to inject this stuff into you.

Testosterone is made in the testis and released into the bloodstream. A good portion of this testosterone is bound up by SHBG leaving free testosterone levels very low (only about 10% of that released into the bloodstream). Testosterone is a very small molecule that is largely lipid soluble, but has a charged polar group or two slapped on one end. This allows it to diffuse freely across the lipid membranes of your cells. Once in the cytosol, the test binds to androgen receptors that are just kinda floatin around. Once bound to the receptor, the test-receptor complex is transported from the cytosol into the nucleus. THis is where the magic begins. Gene expression/protein synthesis are initiated and the cell produces more protein. Glycogen and nutrient uptake are greatly increased to accomodate the increase in protein production. This means that your insulin sensitivity goes way up, as well as your appetite. Your sleep requirement will also increase.

These are real roid users some who will even post their progress day to day week to week. this includes the stack the use to get the best results, this also includes their body weight. Some of these guys are real chemist and know what they are doing some do not so watch out who you listen too.. but most have the best intention which is shedding the light on roids.. like I said most steroid keep your nitrogen and protein levels high but if your not careful the high level of protein will damage your liver.. which why some roid will appear in blood test because of the effect they have on your liver ..

these form are meant to keep user of roid a step ahead of tester, every time one product get band another will pop up, and these form are the best place to start.
