This would simply be brutal. And long. Did I mention that it would be brutal?

I'd rather see Rios-Garcia or Rios-Khan. Can't see Rios having much of a chance against Pacquiao

Rios is tailor made for pac. This would look like the margarito fight except I doubt Rios makes it to the 12th. This would be a good farewell fight for Pac but it's not competitive in the slightest.

    Rios is not yet ready.

    I'd rather see Rios-Matthyse. Would be a slam-bang affair! Or Rios-Garcia.

Would be a fun fight and a huge sell, but Manny would ****ing bash his brains in.

It's just insulting to fans that this is already in the works. Arum clearly isn't thinking about Floyd. But I think Manny and Roach are, they know the end is near and want to get it done with.

Remember what Rios and Margarito did to Roach. Mocked him! Margarito is taken cared of one more to go.

Bring on Rios on the chopping block!!

I would love to see Pacquiao pummel that guy into retirement alongside Concreto but I'm fully expecting to see Pacquiao/Bradley II whatever the outcome of Pac/Marquez is.

yeah I was thinking the same thing. It looks more like Rios's team is talking about it more than Pac's side, so I'll hold back judgement, but when I first saw the story I thought it was weird they would announce this now

Pacman should focus on Marquez. This is why he lost to Bradley and did not do well in this last fight with Marquez. At this point Pacman is slowing down and Rios could land something. But if Pacman is the same old Manny he wins easily by mid round knockout. Why is it that if Manny wins he fights someone tough like Rios, but if JMM wins he fights some handpicked contender who is not tough? That is what I mean, JMM either fights mediocre guys or fights for a title or fights Mayweather and Pacman. No inbetween guys like Pacman fought with Margarito and Cotto etc.

Rios' punch resistance is on it's last legs, I'd assume.
