i'm really disapointed on how arum handled this one. yes he got what he wants and that is for pac to fight cotto even if pac doesn't need to have a fight and just wait for the winner of floyd-jmm.

now that cotto extended his contract under TR, arum is now taking for granted pac because he would be retiring soon and ignores the importance of a 7th title in as many weight class for pac's lagacy. pac should bolt out of arum and should boycott this fight if there would be no title in line. pac is getting the raw end of the deal in here considering that he is the draw.

If he gets KTFO by Cotto, you can count on it. :yep

Nonsense, Pacquiao is making a run for it as "the most feared beast in the history of sports" and "hands of plaster" is rumored to be getting out of suspension sooner than expected. :deal

Exactly and he wants to secure one or two mega fights before he takes off. A fight with the winner of Mayweather/Marquez is the biggest/best for Pacquiao right now and knowing how Arum does his stuff that fight might never happen.

Like Mayweather did to secure a fight with DLH, Pac is looking to do the same. With Arum Mayweather knew a fight with DLH is nearly impossible to make.

Bob Arum's top priority is " Bob Arum." In the meantime, I don't put too much importance on " unconfirmed reports."

This would be great news and would make a Mayweather fight more likely. I hope this isn't a distraction in the build up to the Cotto fight though.

Pac leaving Arum would be a good news. There comes floyd vs pac ultimate fight.

I've been thinking about this . . . if this is true . . . this is maybe because team Pac wanted Arum out of the possible PBF negotiations. :D

Of course, this could all have the opposite effect on Pac's career if their relationship turns frosty and Arum digs his heels in.

It won't matter . . . Pacquiao is not hanging on for too long. He is on the way out. Two or three fights more maybe.

Very possible. Down to 1 fight after Cotto. Easy way out, i.e., to buy out his contract.

It will matter if there ends up being a stand off and Pac's career gets put on hiatus.
