I dont think I have ever seen Manny react like this in a interview. He usually responds with the same answers to questions but this is the first real candid comment coming from him. Good to see, we will see if he is a has been come Nov 23rd.

The complications to make this fight are more than before. Blood tests, Arum/Mayweather, money, venue(Didn't Arum say they won't fight in America anymore?), two separate networks and whatever else I'm forgetting. People might as well completely forget about this fight.

Very good interview, good questions, good interviewer.

Boxing Channel is one of the most overlooked boxing youtube channels out there.

Anyways, for a man who has taken the amount of punishment Pac has taken in his career, it sure doesn't come across in his speech. Taking into consideration that English is his second language, the dude sounds fairly sharp still. Its pretty impressive and encouraging.

:good Great interview man. Manny clears everything up once and for all and FINALLY gives credit to Marquez, it was no lucky punch. Best thing Manny can do is get past that and focus on Rios. It was good to hear directly from him and he defended himself good about Floyd or anyone calling him a has been when he looked better than ever before getting ko'd. Not sure about him koing Rios, but I agree with him at this point a win is a win.

    Yep

And when it was relevant...Manny was quiet as a rat....he was all...

    "talk to my plomoter"

He should have taken the 5050 split and 14 day cutoff
    I bet he's kicking himself.

I'm not sure if Pacquiao publicly said in a recorded interview that Marquez got lucky. Usually these journalists like to twist things and edit what others say to earn easy clicks to their links/sites.

I'm a fan of both but if Manny was a rat then Mayweather was a mouse. All of a sudden he was demanding a new set of rules(blood testing) for this one fight, more money, venue, wanted Pacquiao to change his promoter and everything else. He came out publicly disrespecting Pacquiao, even though he made it clear he has zero intentions to fight him, calling him a cheater and whatnot. If Pacquiao and Arum weren't making things easy, Mayweather was far worse. Ever wondered why no blood testing were required for Marquez when Mayweather returned?. Remember the "take the guaranteed $40 million while I'll take the rest including 100% of the PPV sales and accept all my demands to top it off" offer?

i don't think manny knows that he has to sign with TMT first before floyd even considers a fight with him.

TMT would treat him a lot better than top Rank

VisionQuest found Manny's financial records in a shoebox:rofl

Anybody else would have left Arum then and there...but Manny's culture is based on being servile to people of Arum's complexion:deal

While a bigger fan of floyd I will admit that both are at fault. But people who believe floyd really wanted to fight pac with the last offer he made are crazy. He made that offer knowing it will be rejected, it was a stupid offer ($40million). Sure it would of been more then what pac ever made but it also would of been floyds biggest pay day. Also how are you not going to share PPV's when 2nd biggest attraction is pac himself?. This was not a serious offer & a fake offer so floyd can say he tried. It should of happend when pac & his team denied testing. I dont see why blood testing was ever a issue, pac defitnetly killed the first fight & he is 100% to blame on the first. But this last offer floyd proposed was just dumb.

Put whatever your shooting or smoking away...it's fu.cking with your memory.

In 09 when the fight was hottest Floyd agreed to a 5050 split right off the bat when everybody was saying he'd price himself out.

Not only did he agree to even money...he agreed to Manny's crazy 10 million dollar for every lb over 147....

He even relented from 0 cutoff days to 14...that still wasn't enough...Manny ran off to fight THE ALREADY SIGNED Joshua Clottey:deal

WHO NEEDS MORE THAN 2 WEEKS TO RECOVER FROM THOSE TESTS?..Not even Maria Sharapova:rofl

You must have forgotten Arum's stadium that had to be built and the cut that needed 6 months to heal or the amount of time he needed to gather investors to make the fight in Dubai:lol:

I bet Manny wishes he would have taken that 40 million deal...and he's kicking himself even harder for ducking a 5050 split over the SAME testing he's FINALLY doing for the dreaded Brandon Rios:rofl
