Rios was no worse as an opponent for Pacquiao than Guerrero or Ortiz for Mayweather. It was an ok fight.
I agree with you as well but IB probably knows more about boxing than 80% of all his legion of fan boys who are the equivalent of teen girls who love Miley Cyrus here in America. I'm happy for the phillipines getting to see their star come back and brightening up their recent hardships but being the FOTD and supposedly being the best how people try to portray him as it's a **** fight that does nothing for his career or legacy and quite frankly overall means nothing.
I agree with Ortiz; he was a joke opponent for which Mayweather ought to be ashamed. Guerrero is better than Rios, however. Considerably.
Last night went like most people expected it to. One thing though I don't get comments like this not to hype Ortiz or Guerrero as great opponents but both probably beat Rios. As far as standing Ortiz jumped up and beat the #3 rated WW and won a title/Guerrero jumped up and beat two top 10 WW both were in the top 5/6 of the division at the time of the fight. Rios however moved up and went 1-1 vs a guy that wasn't even a top 5 JWW. Just because Rios is Closer in skill to Pacquiao than Ortiz/Guerrero were to Mayweather doesn't mean he's a better opponent
Does this mean he's ducking according to ******* logic? Why is Manny announcing a fight in April when he knows Mayweather already has a placed book in May. All *******s know if you book a fight knowing when the other guy is fighting you're a career ducker.
I think it will look about the same as last night. Danny has speed though and he'll win a few rounds. Danny is pretty flat footed. Pacquiao will keep spinning him.
In what ****ing way isn't he? Skill? No way you can think Rios is more skilled. Guerrero can actually box. Resume? Look again, if you thought Rios had more substance on his. h2h ability/who could beat more of their peers? Guerrero is a much trickier out with his strength and greater versatility and being an unorthodox southpaw as opposed to basic-as-they-come Rios. Does Guerrero receive a boxing lesson from Abril? Does Rios march through Berto and Aydin, much physically bigger and stronger men (which means get is without his usual advantage)? I don't know about all that... :huh
The date doesnt mean anything! U have to have a back up plan so April 12th is back up plan. Mayweather-Pacquiao fight has a good chance of happening. Arum and everybody knows that if he loses to Bradley again its retire time and all money is gone. Its all there best intrest to really make the Mayweather fight happen and they know this. Pac finally took a blood test so lets see
