Floyd is lean. You know how much cotto an canelo would weigh if they cut down to floyds bf percentage? Floyd isnt as small as people think. decent size frame.

Floyd is not small - Floyd has low body fat so weight stays down but his muscle mass is very good. People retain fat and water weight very differently. The fact Floyd maintains 148.4 while training tells you the guy has great genetics and naturally very low body fat

To say Floyd is a small welterweight is ridiculous. Let me ask you, how do you compare Floyd to Pacquiao in terms of size then? (this will be interesting lol )

I give Floyd a small edge in size in comparison to Pac, despite Pac gaining back like 15 lbs overnight in his 130 lb days.

When they both settled in at welter, Floyd has a slight edge, Pac is very compact though, he weighed more than Floyd has ever weighed in on fight night in Marquez IV, still only a pound, but every little helps.

Floyd is a small Welterweight, I think you are confused cause you think Top Rank has welterweights when really they are 135 and 140 pounders. Look at Thurman, Lucky Boy, Alexander, Ortiz and Berto and look at how small Lopez and Maidana look compared to them.

Mannys got tree trunk legs. Floyd is thin in his legs, upperbody is wider framed, longer armed, Floyd is a good sized welterweight in terms of how the weight division use to be. Today i agree he comes in on the lighter side. But because somebody throws on water weight quick an carries more bodyfat doesnt make them bigger Dont be fooled by weight all the time. I laugh at people that think flod could fight at jr welter at 36 though. Hed be bone dry, more susceptible to injury etc, wouldnt be smart

Actually it does. When you say one guy is bigger than the other, there are a few different ways to quantity bigger. That would be via height, length, and mass. If one guy is heavier than another guy, then he has more mass and therefore is arguably bigger.

Dude, all I can say is this, it's a lot more than just about weight - that number doesn't take into account many factors, fat retention, water retention, bone density...you just need to look at both fighter's physiques...compare him to Marquez in IV - now Pacquiao weighed more but are you telling me you think Pacquiao was the bigger guy? Come on, Marquez' upper body was far more built and muscular than Pacquiao... even in fight III, on fight night Pacquiao was 148, Marquez was 150 - are we saying Marquez is bigger than Mayweather now? Of course not

As for saying Pacquiao has weighed more than Floyd ever has - Floyd rarely weighs himself on fight night. Look at Floyd against Cotto - you're delusional if you think Floyd has never weighed more than Pacquiao on fight night - he's an inch and a half taller and has a more muscular physique

Marquez is top heavy but look at Pac's legs, and it's arguably the most important thing in terms of power in boxing.

I already said Floyd is slightly bigger as a welterweight so I don't know why you just went into any more of that

Weight is weight your right. Thats not good size though. If im a lean 148 an my oppenent is 10 lbs heavier an that 10 lbs is water an fat its not functional weight. floyd is solid, if miguel leaned out to floyds level you would be suprised how light he would be. More weight equals more force though so i know what your saying. hard to explain

Not sure where Tommy Hearns got that right hand from then, he had the spindliest legs in boxing...

What you said above is not true, those legs help with his explosiveness, his in and out movement and help in his punching style but leg muscles are not the most important thing in terms of a boxer's power...

Different era, same day weigh ins with Hearns. Why else do you think Naz hit so hard? He had huge legs and a base to punch. I'll take Manny Stewards word over yours.
