What would you be saying if it was Khan who took on Alvarado after Garcia? Would that be a **** comeback? Molina is a **** comeback after being KTFO, a world ranked fighter is not.

If Manny can't get Bradley or Marquez then who is so much better than Alvarado that he should fight them? Kell Brook? Devon Alexander?

Macau is a wonderful venue for a Pac fight, whoever the opponent is, it is good for Pac's career

 

I;d say they are. Manny Pac and Floyd are number 1 and 2 fighter of the decade for the noughties.

Show me any other number 1 or 2 fighter of the decades that aren't rated in the top 30 or close to it.

Same with Jones, criminally undervalued on ATG lists.

but if the fighter of the year of the last 2 decades in Jones and Manny aren't making top 30 or even 40 then i'd say your over valuing previous decades.

And not saying you put them in even the top to if you don't want too. but definetly top 40

 

I had already said that at 147, Floyd's choices are currently limited, but this is largely by his own making due to the politics he has helped create with the TV networks and with Bob Arum...Floyd has never tried to get past those issues, it suits him to not have a working relationship with Top Rank for that very reason - that way he can always fall back on "It's Bob Arum's fault" and he's played that card countless times

So based on all that, then yes, Guerrero is what's currently left at 147.

However by your rationale above, would you therefore agree that he should next look to take on the winner of Trout V Canelo? After all, you're claiming Guerrero is the best available across 2 divisions PLUS Mayweather is the 154 champ and claims to be the best there also...
