After his upcoming May 2 clash with British superstar Ricky "The Hitman" Hatton, the People's Champion Manny Pacquiao said he will have one or two more fights before calling it quits.

The Pinoy boxing icon said his stellar professional career in boxing means he has nothing more to prove.

"Antagal ko na sa boxing eh, 18 years na... magna-19 years na ko sa boxing," Pacquiao said.

It has been a colorful career for Pacquiao, who set a record in becoming the first Asian to win four titles in four different divisions. He has also defeated some of the biggest names in boxing, including Marco Antonio Barrera, Erik Morales, and Oscar de la Hoya.

Two more fights after Hatton then he will hang his gloves, said Pacquiao.

“Hihintayin pa ba nating magkaroon tayo ng karamdaman bago magretiro?” said the 30-year-old General Santos native.

Pacquiao, who is currently in the United Kingdom to promote his match with Hatton in Las Vegas, said he wants to devote more time to his family.

Success, he said, is meaningless if he will not be with his four children during their formative years.

"Two months, two months lang ako sa tatlong laban, e ‘di six months na 'yun,” said Pacquiao. “Buti kung two months-two months lang akong nawawala sa bahay. Pero usually, six months-seven months akong nasa America. Mas madami akong time kesa sa pamilya ko.”

There are also talks that he will again try entering politics.

On the other hand, Hatton evaded questions of possible retirement should he lose to Pacquiao.

The two boxing superstars were together again in a news conference at the Imperial War Museum in Central London.

It was part of their UK press tour to promote the forthcoming fight dubbed as "The Battle of the East and West."

The two fighters played a game of darts during their first encounter in Manchester, two hours after their public appearance at the Trafford Center.

The darts challenge was held in the historic New Inn Club, one of the oldest English pubs in Manchester formerly owned by the Hatton family.

Meanwhile, part of Pacquiao's schedule was a courtesy call with Ambassador Edgardo Espiritu at the Philippine Embassy in London.

Filipino fans waited for hours outside the embassy.

Most of them did not report for work just to get a glimpse of the Filipino boxing icon, considered today as the best pound-for-pound fighter. With a report from Danny Buenafe, ABS-CBN Europe News Bureau

If he beats Hatton I'd like tos ee him fight Valero (to get it over and done with) and finish his career with a 3rd Marquez fight.

What a complete career that would be. Being annihilated by either Shane or Cotto is not a good idea. Maybe Berto if he really wants to get a title at WW.

Anyone as long JMM is the last one. And hopefully if that Happens no OLD, SHOT and any other excuses will come out which I strongly doubt it.

if a mosley-pacman fight won't happen and if pacman decided to fight his last 3 fights at 140 i would love to see him fight
    winner of bradley-holt
    JMM for his finally

i doubt he will fight the winner of bradley-holt cuz i think mosley is next after hatton.

jmm- to shut up the jmm fanboys
valero- to shut up other pachaters.
pbf- money is too much of a lure for pbf i think so he will probably get out of retirement.

cotto/mosley are too big for pac in my opinion.

I could watch Pac fight JMM every week.
How often do the two best fighters in the world operate at the same weight, hit their peak at roughly the same time and just happen to be a perfect styles-clash for each other?
If they fight again it'll probably be another close fight that doesn't convince anyone who's definatevely better ... but who cares?
There isn't a better fight in boxing than Marquez v Pacquiao.

I'd prefer Cotto then JMM. I know Pac will most likely lose to Cotto. But I say let him try, and he might, just might cause an upset and create history once again.

PBF would've been another choice if only he would take a tune-up before fighting Pac. Otherwise people would just say that PBF was rusty if ever Pac beats him.

Definitely JMM. What a fitting end to his career that would be, win, lose or draw.

Hope he manages to lure out PBF but barring that I'd like him to fight Valero since he hasn't fought a young lion in a long while. I think Mosley may be too big for Pac.

Beat Hatton take Cotto at 140 Then go for floyd at 147 If he can handle the other two well. Pac shouldn't move down, and JMM isn't moving up for a third fight. Valero Needs to fight someone first and maybe three four times to make that work, big names, big fights with a point proven.
