Pac is moving on to bigger and better. With that in mind, I wonder how Barrera and Marquez and Morales feel now? There is no way neither of those guys can ever do what Pac did on Saturday. That is why he is above them, just a higher level fighter.

You better believe they are rooting for Manny to win every fight he can. For Morales it makes his victory over Pac look that much better and for both it makes their losses look that much less bad.

 

I used to think that about fighters, but i do not anymore. No one believes Morales is better than Oscar. That is Pac's win and only Pac's win. I do not think anyone thought that Leonard was any greater because Hearns beat Virgil Hill 10 years later. It just shows that Hearns had more than Ray to outlast him and win a title months after Ray lost to Norris. That spoke volumes I thought. And this fight shows how Pacman is just above those guys in talent and skill. Morales and Barrrera would both lose to Delahoya.

 

If Morales and Barrera can come up and win titles both of them, then it looks good as though they were the cream of the crop. But they have to produce also. They are great no doubt and they are more warrior mentality guys than Oscar ever was, but still this is Pac's win I think.

 

I didn't say they would beat DeLaHoya, not even close. What I was saying was there was no apparent dislike between Morales or Barrera and Pacquiao during the run-up to their fights, and would you rather say you beat and/or got stretched by the guy who ****ed up DLH or was mauled by DLH?

 

I see what you are saying. Yeah I agree. Pacman graduated to a new level that is all I meant. But it does not hurt those other guys that is for sure, but Pacman graduated to superstar status. Which is tough for alot of guys to deal with. I think he will be fine. Problem is that once a guy reaches this level they start to put him in with the top guys all the time to try and topple him, and that means chances of him being upset. But Pacman has fought so many greats so far he seems to be for real. If Pacman does beat Hatton and then by chance gets by Mayweather, and if Margarito survives in that time span I think they would definetly set up Margarito/Pacman. Margarito does look too big, but Pacman is special apparently. He might just be that high quality which comes along every 10 years or so.
