Man even the average ******* can't be this dumb. I'm going to make a Pacquiao versus Prime Roy Jones Jr. thread and see how many idiots show up for Pacquiao.
U got a point here that Froch will be much more aggressive, it just I have lost all hope in Froch. I thought he would win against Taylor and was happy he did but what I saw against Dirrell has me rethinking he is any good.
I don't think Froch would beat Dirrell in a rematch, and maybe he wouldn't beat Pascal either, but he is still pretty good and underrated by many, simply because he has some great intangibles (will to win, intelligence, courage, risk-taking/never-say-die, mental fortitude, self-belief...) and some very good physical attributes. I think his opponents have also overrated him somewhat, considering him more dangerous than he actually is, and as a consequence, they lost the mental battle as soon as they stepped in the ring, and they underperformed. You have to stand up to Froch and not let him bully you (especially mentally/tactically) if you want to win. But Pascal and Dirrell were too green and overawed when they fought him to stand up to him. With Kessler, it might be a different story.
Are you guys serious? Pac is the best boxer in the history of the sport and would toy with someone as limited as Froch. If a feather fisted runner like Dirrell hurt Carl then Pac's world class speed and power would have Froch on ***** street the first time he landed flush. Froch would then proceed to run from Pac looking for a place to lie down until Pac caught up to him and put him down for good. Pac KO 3:deal
Wrong I'm a huge Froch fan just a realistic one.:good I picked him to beat Dirrell. I still want him to win the Super 6 and think he will stop Kessler. The only man in his way would be Ward.
good post, but I partially disagree. I actually rooted for Mosley both times to win over Forrest, but I thought Mosley carried out the wrong gameplan both times and Forrest was easily on par as far as talent goes with Mosley. He not only used his height adv, but what was even more effective was when Mosley would go toe to toe with Forrest and you would think Mosley would have the advantage there, but not so. Forrest had uppercuts waiting for Shane's forward style as it was the smaller Shane being the aggressor, which I think was the wrong fight plan.
