Who else thinks this matchup will be competitive?

Although JMM looked awful at his only fight above 135lb, that was against someone who is stylistic very wrong for him (Mayweather). JMM weighed 145lb on fight night vs Katsidis and managed to KO him, this is no way comparing Pacquiao to Katsidis, but style wise, JMM would look good / be competitive against Pacquiao. I'm sure JMM was around the same weight for the Casamayor fight too!

Pacquiao weighed a career high of 148lb against Margarito, so there will only been a few lb's difference come fight now.

Me. Pacquiao isn't as good as Floyd and styles make fights; therefore I believe this fight is a lot closer than most are making out.

Pacquiao should really stop him at this point, but if he really is slowing down things could get interested, I really want to see how marquez handles pacquiao at this point if the weight gain goes well for him. This fight and ortiz vs floyd will give a very clear picture of how the situation currently is.

At 147 I don't feel this fight will be that competitive. Pacquiao has been able to fill out that weight nicely and retain his physical advantages.... Marquez is just fat and out of his element at welterweight. I see Pacquiao TKO by round 10.

JMM shouldn't be at 147 period. I'm hoping for a competitive fight but am expecting the worst.

If you mean he'll win maybe 4 rounds then yeah, i say it will be. I think you would have to be a fool to think that Pac will run over JMM. I mean in case you guys didn't know, they did fight two super close fights.

Majority of the *****s will always say all of Pac's opponents are hopeless and this fight is no exception. But me personally I think this fight is gonna be a blow out. I can see JMM getting brutally stopped in this fight with lumps all over his head. PAC at 147 hits way lot harder compared to their first two fights. But JMM will be paid handsomely so it's all worth it.
