Khan's a far more well known boxer on a casual level. This is not up for debate. Let's see the marketing points for Khan: Manny Pacquiao's former sparring partner, Freddie roach's former pupil, and his name was heavily linked with Floyd. Crawford had wings over Gamboa Ricky Burns Ray Beltran in that welterweight he just knocked out Whose name I can't draw at this very moment

Khan nor Crawford are not known here in America. Pac sells the ppv by himself.

I hate Khan but he's an international star, and many people including myself want to see him KO'd, whereas Crawford is Big In Omaha (hey that's a good TV show title):yep

    Khan sells more.

    Sums it up perfectly.

The guy was caught out buying Twitter followers, for christ's sake - he has no fan base.

You have to hand it to Khan, he's somehow convinced the US that he has a massive following.

Boxing needs Pac, Crawford. Khan needs 1 top WW win. Pac will sell ppv's and Khan won't add to what the fight sells. It might be more than what Crawford can bring, but not much more. Khan, internation STAR? Lmmfao...

Khan. Crawford is the better matchup but still unknown. They're both not that great sells, tbh.

Stupid question, does Crawford have any PPV draw atall? Even khan haters buy the fight to see the soft part of his facial structure reshaped.

It's obviously Khan. You can likely count on one hand the number of nationally televised fights Crawford has been in. And you count using one finger the number of legitimate opponents he's faced. And that opponent was above his ideal weight.

    International views; Khan.

American PPV sales; likely the same with perhaps a slight edge to Crawford.

We are talking about PPV sales in the United States only, correct?

As much as his fans like to say otherwise based on this thread, nobody in America knows who Amir Khan is unless you are such a boxing fan that you know exactly who Crawford is as well. And that is both obvious and true as can be.

So that argument doesn't work here. Sorry.

There are no sports fans in America who ARE NOT specifically boxing fans that would know who Amir Khan is. Literally close to not a single one.

And that's because there are no sports fans in America who aren't boxing fans that know anything about boxing other than stuff like: "Mayweather highest paid athlete," "Pacquiao going to KO Mayweather in 2 rounds," "I wikipedia'd it and the heavyweight champ is a pair of Russian brothers," and "Mike Tyson would beat both of these guys."
