    I read a good article a few months back. A massive study of DNA in the Eastern World concluded that approximately 2% of the current world population can be traced back to a common ancestor; the one and only Genghis Khan. Sounds absolutely crazy but all the legends of his brutal endless un-consensual bedding of those he conquered at least makes it seem likely that he is a lot of folks' daddy's daddy (to the x power).
