The only thing I find interesting about this fight is, will it not look suspicious if Pacquiao totally blitz's man that previously out boxed him twice??
Lol so on that arguement you could disregard any of Pacquiao's fights since he fought Marquez as being credible.
Bladegunner...watch this video and remember Pac's face in it. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b1VQj_kMMYU&feature=related[/ame] Compare it to how he's gonna look at the weigh in for the upcoming fight. You'll know what I mean then.
I think the point is that since they last fought, Pacquaio is that many years improved, where-as Marquez is that many years older.
Which is exactly the issue as to why people suspect him.. naturally fighters at Pacquiao's age go into decline. I mean look at Floyd, as great a fighter he still is he is that little bit slower I think in his reactions and is getting caught more. Remeber Pacquiao's in his thirties to... he was at what should have been his peak when he last fought Marquez!
Not disregard them. Because he still won. But now, he's better conditioned and will put on a more convincing performance.
Pacquiao has slowed down abit too. Anb in regards to his power and durability, this naturally improves when you no longer have to drain yourself, and can now operate at a more comfortable weight. It's really not that hard to understand.
I know buddy, when I say 'improved' I mean in terms of fighting skills, he has a wider range of punches and better tactical control, phyiscally I'll agree, he shouldn't of been able to gain weight whilst getting older and actually seem to increase in speed. I think he should take tests but that subjects already been covered 500 times a day on this forum. You're right about Floyd (who I think would beat Pacquaio) slowing down. Against Ortiz, I saw him going for the quick jump in left hook that he used to land at lightweight, his legs didn't have anywhere near the same spring in them that they once had.
Don't get me wrong Pacquiao was probably my favourite fighter before he fought DLH... his career since then is everything I hate about boxing.
