First of all last night what we saw was a display of friendly sparring. There is always good to have respect for the fighter but too much respect spoils the fight. I personally would not blame Pacquiao for the boring display of what people would not even call a fight. Sugar Shane Mosley was VERY disappointing and clearly past his time. I believe he should retire now brilliant boxer in his day but now is not his time.

Moving to the point it was watching Khan v McCloskey on a higher level. Any fighter that is not prepared to fight and has good reflexes can make any boxer look ordinary even if it is P4P No.1 Pacquiao. After watching that fight I can confidently say Eddie Hearns' claims to coming stronger in the last rounds were rubbish and the outcome would have been similar to Pacquiao - Mosley therefore he should just shut up crying about a rematch boxing fans do not deserve to be put through another fight like this. Barry McGuigan hit the nail on the head it was a clash of styles thats all...

I agree on the spirit of the fight. In this fight and the Mayweather one Mosely just looks like wants to turn up, collect his money and not upset anyone. Touching gloves as a sign of respect is a nice gesture but Mosely has starting doing it every time he gets hit, slips, held, butted.....

Why do people always feel the need to compare fights to other fights they've seen recently? The fight was nothing a like, the only similarity being that they were both ****.

I do agree though that some boxers can just make other look ordinary if they're not necessarily trying to win themselves.

Mosley had the perfect gameplan for Pac though. Only problem being that he just isn't good enough any more to fight at the top level and like Gaz said, seems to have accepted this and is just there for the money now.

I think all Mosley did was jab and touch gloves...easy pay day for both but I think it has damaged Pacquiao's credibility just the way it damaged Khan's against McCloskey.

i was reading his twitter last night and he was being disrespectful to mosley, a guy he has been friends with from the age of 11.

Yeah it was a bit odd. Seemed to pretty much encapsulate the intensity of the whole fight in one moment.

I think Mosley is just well past it to be honest. He can still hang in there and make things tricky, but has hardly anything to offer as a threat. How many right hands did he throw over the course of the Pacquiao and Mayweather fights? 10?

As for Pac, seemed to lack intensity last night. Don't know if he's lacking motivation now for fights like this, cut corners in training, distractions or whatever...but he just wasn't there. Doing enough to win easily but he wasn't he usual buzzsaw self.

Problem is an old Mosely not giving a **** is still good enough to take the best fighters in the world 12 rounds.

You always have to compare fights it is a good way of distinguishing and pointing out reasons for outcomes for particular fights. It's more credible than just dishing out opinions, nothing wrong with opinion but there is more value when there is something you can go off and compare to,the fight just hit me of how similar it was to the Khan fight so thought it was worth a mention better than posting a million threads saying how **** Mosley was or how Pac was frustrated or exposed.

The first one is a little harsh but the other 2 are fair enough.

Lost all respect for Mosley after that bollocks he put up. ****ing touching gloves every second of the round and running running running.

Get out of the Sport, really. This is what Arum get's for putting up bull**** fights.

The constant touching of gloves seems to be some sort of "Are we still friends?" thing....

Doing that is okay if you put up strong showing but you're leaving yourself open to a lot of criticism if you don't throw much and then start touching gloves every round.
