Pacquiao v Mosley set for may 7th 2011

Its done, its been said for ages, Mosley has been boasting about it on twitter, fat Dan Rafael moaning about it. Its happening.

Shocking fight and even worse is you just know when he wins here his second fight next year will be a rematch with Cotto or Margo. I despise Bob Arum, a **** of a man.

 

It's not confirmed yet but it should be in the next few days. Would be very surprised if it was not Mosley - that's who Arum wants.

 

Wtf, not to impressed with this tbh, why wont he just sort out a contract with Floyd, *i dont know the latest updates on the situation so i would be greatfull if anyone could update me*

Floyd won't sort out a contract with Manny. And Floyd has his own legal worries right now, just like his uncle does. Floyd denied there had been any negotiations, despite what Ross Greenburg and Bob Arum have said, and what Al Haymon has been privately quoted as saying.

Floyd doesn't want any hard fights. Just easy money on his way to a retirement.

 

Not entirely a surprise. Disappointing none the less.

 

I hope this doesn't happen. I'd rather see Pacquiao fight:

-Marquez at 135/140
-Alexander/Bradley winner at 140
-Berto at 147
-Martinez at 154
-Saul Alvarez between 147-150
-Cotto unification

Shame really this fight would sell out have fukin millions of PPV buys, and would be the best fight in history, Very entertaining and would have you on the edge of your seat at all times.

It's pathetic that some people on here on now getting on pac's case if he fights mosley. Typical Hatton fan cry babies who've switched their alliegence to Floyd when they ought to be supporting Pacquiao who fought everyone & DUCKED no one.

I've posted plenty over the last year that Floyd will never ever get into the ring with Pacquiao & all for the above reasons. This is a bizzness & Mayweather has said time & time again "Max Reward/Min Risk" & legacy don't pay the bills, he dos'nt give a flying **** what his so called fans think or even care. He's doing a SRL & waiting & hoping to see Pacquiao get beat or starts too slide & then & only then will he take the risk & fighter packer just like SRL did in avoiding Hagler for 5 years.

This is a bizzness after all & these guys fight for pay!! who else is there for the mighty midgit that can command the big PPv $$$$, Marquez has for some reason priced himself out? Mosley will be a tough hard fight due to the styles & will go the full 12 rounds, Mosley ai'nt Hatton

It's pointless. Based on what mayweather did to mosely I thinks it's fair to assume PAC will prob stop mosely. Sugar has been on the decline for a while was fortunate against mayorga and mora, and leagues away in the end from floyd. The only meaningful fight left for PAC and floyd is each other.
What would be interesting with this however, the difference in performance. If PAC could look special and stop sugar, then it would look good on PAC, and maybe entice floyd a bit more to prove a point?
