That would be funny if Pacman called out Broner after Rios. lol Probably won't happen, luckily for Broner. I'll take Pacman by KO in the middle rounds. I think Broner can take some of Pacquiao's shots, but eventually he'll wither.
Pacquiao got ko'd by a much stronger JMM. He looked to be in the best shape of his life. If Marquez fought Broner...I would heavily favor Marquez. He has better footwork, better technique, bigger ring iq, a better jab, and I feel like he has more power at this point in his life. Broners shots weren't really affecting paulie all that much which leads me to believe that his power didn't travel up 2 weightclasses with him.
He's definitely not the same pacquiao from 2009. Nonetheless, I genuinely think Pacquiao would take Broner apart. Don't think Broner has too much power for pacman.
This. Broner is copying Floyd and he does everything Floyd does but 40% worse, thats exactly what will get him knocked out, he can do that against fighters like Paulie with no power at all, but once he faces someone with power i can see him losing on body shot, paulie landed some beautifull bodyshots but damn he has no power at all. Pac would eat Broner alive.
Broner is flat footed though.. how can you not see that? Paulie isn't the only one who's said it, even his idol Floyd is on record as saying he needs to work on his foot work & Floyd Sr said the same thing also. Broner is there to be hit, doesn't have a great output and Pacquiao would be on him from the word go. At 147, Pac is far more proven and has pop in his punches. Broner v Pac at this very moment in time would see Broner get his ass kicked.
funny, people still thinking broner is the second coming of floyd..... i think pac takes him into the trenches and etches out a solid win.... maybe stops him due to ref jumping in -perhaps prematurely- but definitely wins on points. broner not co-ordinated enough to hold off pac's in-and-out flurries, definitely gets hurt on a few occasions. we'd certainly learn something about broner's heart anyway.
I really don't know how you could come to this conclusion considering we haven't even seen Broner wobbled. Why don't people use logic instead of hatred. I would expect Pac to win on workrate, and also movement. Pacs in and out style would be something Broner simply isn't used to and cant adapt to as he wont be able to set his feet to throw. I wouldn't speculate on a KO, as we simply don't know what Broners chin is like. He could have a Shane Mosley chin, he could have an Amir Khan chin, but we just don't know yet. However I would expect PAc to win, and before the Marquez KO PAc could take the shots Broner was landing on PM, but again, his chin may now be cracked so he may not be able to take Broners punches, which he would be able to land at times throughout the fight.
Pac by KO! Broner would try to run once he feels Pacs power, but Pac would destroy him and end it in the middle rounds!
Pacquioa was winning the fight convincingly for the first time in their series until, BOOM.. Pacquioa went down.. Its not like Marquez owned Pacquioa so he does better against Broner who is a stylistic copycat of Mayweather.. I do agree with you that Broner has the tools to beat Pacquioa, but not today.. Maybe one or two years more.. :hey
