hmm says... way too early, but I'm counting on Pac to pull through.. why? I just feel Pac is too unpredictable and will somehow surprise boxing fans again. I don't want to be the type of fan that over analyzes a scenario just to have it proven wrong again. Too many threads like this too.
Too late for that I guess, maybe I will just make another thread asking, "Pacquiao-Mayweather: who wins in a poll?"
I like both fighters.....alot But floyd has.....height....reach...better footwork....better timing....and both have great hand speed But....most important in this fight.... Defense...floyd's is second to none...in this era... Floyd wins...late rnd tko...or ud(9rds to 3)
Floyd is the naturally bigger man. If PAC wins he has achieved something massive. The two shouldn't really be sharing the same ring as they are naturally from two different weight classes. HUGELY UNFAIR advantage towards Mayweather as he has the great boxing skills AND is the bigger man. For PAC to go against those kind of odds is crazy to me and is EXACTLY WHAT MAYWEATHER WOULD NOT DO. He won't even fight the best IN HIS OWN WEIGHT DIVISION (Cotto, Mosely, Margarito, Williams) If PAC loses it shouldn't affect his status as an all time great anyway as it's an unfair match.
Floyd will most likley win a UD but it wouldn't surprise me if he knocked Pac out...I understand Pac has more impressive W's over common opponents but styles make fights and Floyd won't be a shell of what he was as was Oscar nor a fighter who walks straight forward like Ricky...
Floyd wins. The early rounds will be competitive but Floyd will figure him out and pull away by a fairly large margin of victory.
Pac's already proved himself as a beast at LWW Floyd is naturally somewhere LWW and WW It's not as uneven as your thinking
Floyd by UD, Unless Mayweather get's KTFO, If it goes 12 it's a wrap (Same way I feel about the JMM fight)
Mayweather on a count punch. His defense is great and Manny can get pretty aggressive - which I think will work against him - with Mayweather. Just can't see him winning this fight.
