I've been watching tape of chris training and he looks impressive but that is just training. I will be shocked and expect pac to retire immediately if he struggles at all.

I guess I have to factor in how broke pac is and he'll owe like 100M to the irs after this fight so maybe he will continue being a name on a resume and stepping stone.

I’m expecting Pacquiao to feel Algieri’s power and immediately recognize that he’s not in any serious threat. After that he’s just going to keep ducking that jab and going to work.

Pacquiao will feint beautifully with his feet and hands, and when Algieri throws out that long jab, Pacquiao will bounce in after it and wreak havoc. Tall fighters are vulnerable in the mid-distance to short fighters who can control range, as they have poor leverage and are in range of the shorter man’s power straights. Not many fighters do that better than Pac, and I this late career version of him does it best of all.

I think people are reading way too much in to Algieri’s advantages. He better pull those straight rights back faster than he did against Plodovnikov or he is in big trouble.

I'm not sure if you are serious or if you are just trying to show and spread hype.

Algieri is the third worst/least credible opponent Pac has faced going all the way back to 2007 (only Rios and Margarito were inferior and brought less skill and merit to the table).

 

many fighters who were inferior beat the best guy they caught them when they were past their best pac could be done and chris could take advantage of it many factors involved
