Pacquiao vs Algieri will be a good guide on how Pacquiao vs Mayweather plays out.

    I'm not saying Algieri is in the same ball park 'skill wise' as Mayweather but there's still enough similarities between them to give us a hint on how Pacquiao vs Mayweather would turn out.

    Algieri is a slick operator, he fights on the back foot and always keeps his jab popping out. He's a runner like Mayweather and gives away his power for movement.

    This is the kind of fighter that Pacquiao has never fought before and will be the closest in style to what he would face against Mayweather.

    It'll also be interesting to see how Pacquiao deals with a slick fighter who also has length and height advantages over him just like Mayweather would do.

    If Pacquiao struggles with Algieri then you can bet it'd be worse against Mayweather but if he handles Algieri and knocks him out then he's got a shot of doing the same to Mayweather.

    Mayweather has better ring IQ, slickness, and punching power.

    Not a good comparison, it's like comparing Ortiz to Pacquiao.

    Well Floyd does have nearly the same KO% as Pacroid. So yes, he does.

    That's why Floyd is so AMAZING. He wears pillow gloves yet he has about the same KO% as Pacroid. Algieri has a punchers chance :rofl AFTER ALL, Pacroid has glass jaw and body.

    Glass heart? Floyd has taken some MONSTER shots and has never even been knocked down. He won't quit like Pacroid did against Torrecampo, Singsurat and JMM.

    To be fair Pacquiao didn't quit against Marquez, his spirit was knocked so far out of his body it took a full five minutes for it to return to earth! :lol:

    I see where your coming from...however Chris does get hit a lot compoatred to how often Floyd gets hit. PAC will be encouraged by the fact he can land bombs...and get confused by not being able to land flush on flloyd.

    If it goes the distance with a mover like chris , Id say its pretty dead cert Floyd takes a unanimous decision over pac
