Pacquiao vs Algieri will be a good guide on how Pacquiao vs Mayweather plays out.

Pac has been in there with all kinds of good fighters and it would take more than some slickness to beat him, you need the total package of experience, speed, defense, footwork, of a Mayweather to have a chance to beat him. A lot of these things Algieri still lacks, he's still kind of a rookie to the game.

Pac would exploit all of Algieri's flaws before he even has a chance to threaten Pac, so for the most part, I don't see this as a good guide as how a Pac - May fight would go. If I'm wrong though, and Pac struggles to find him, and the fight drags into the late rounds, then yes, Pac is very doubtful to beat someone like Mayweather.

    Exactly.

This is what i was getting at, Algieri will be constantly on the move against Pac just like Mayweather would be so it will be interesting to see how well Manny does against a slick boxer who uses his legs and counter punches on the back foot.
