I think he should rematch Bradley even though he clearly won the last fight, then if he gets past him he should fight Provodnikov if the Mayweather fight cannot be made.

After beating Aydin, he held an interm WBC title and defended it vs Berto. And he was the MANDATORY challenger for Floyd's title. Any other questions?

Interim is bull****, how can you have an interim when the champion (floyd) was & is ready, willing & able to defend. Guerrero was given a bull**** belt so he'd have to pay the sanctioning fees, he wasn't champion at 147 as he didn't beat any of the reigning belt holders & no title was vacant.

This, and it would be disturbingly shocking if this ever came to pass.

Wasn't Pacquiao set to fight Alvarado in Macau instead of Rios in the first place but Alvarado wanted more money.

Who cares? Pacquiao-Alvarado would be terrible match-making at this point any way you slice it.

This doesn't make even a fraction of the sense that Alvarado vs. Rios III and/or Pacquiao vs. Provodnikov make...

alvarado is an unknown, who will try to box pac.

it would be a borefest to watch pac chasing a bigger guy around the ring for 12 rounds.

there is no angle to promote the fight.

rios is an unknown commodity who has fan friendly style who will bring it. rios is a promoter\s dream.

    this isnt hard.

What other options are there? As long as Pac fights the Bradley/Provodnikov winner, I have no problem with this.

I WAs responding with the timeline before the pac-rios in mind.

    why rios was chosen.

top rank isnt gonna go back and consider alvarado this time for the very same reason they didnt choose him last time.:good
