    Chavez seems to be on the safe path to middleweight title both are toprank promoted.
    Could we see some catchweight fight for a 9th title in the future?
    Pac would school chavez jr., problem with this are both freddie roach trained, still I think it could happen. cotto vs chavez would also be good if cotto is able to beat him up, both top rank.
    after cotto-margarito you will get cotto vs pac winner fighst inhouse middleweight god chavez jr. bob arum:patsch

    Chavez Jr does not have the courage to step in with the Pacman....at least from what we have seen so far....

    Short answer is no. No one would buy the fight, and Chavez's career would be derailed.

    WBC have only stripped martinez so that they can enforce jr to fight zbik who he may beat.

    i have no doubts that freddie would drop jr at any minute for pac to win that next title.

    Or would it son of legendary chavez, people will buy it. If he manages to beat pacquiao what would it do for his carreer its worth the risk.

    Chavez should face Margarito first. If he can hurdle him, then he can probably fight Pac.

    What I mean is he wouldn't be in Chavez corner if emmanuel-chavez or Amir-julio bouts are to happen.
