    It's not even close.

For any Mayweather fans saying that Cotto beat Clottey (in a split decision), two words: Zab Judah.

Most will recall that Mayweather chose to fight Zab Judah after Carlos Baldomir defeated him and Mayweather then defeated Baldomir.

Same scenario here for Pacquiao with Clottey and Cotto.

Joshua Clottey is a big, rugged welterweight. He is a legitimate opponent for Manny Pacquiao.

Unfortunately, Matthew Hatton is not a credible challenger for Floyd Mayweather.

This is just ridiculous...more and more, it's starting to sink in that this fight has really gone up in smoke. Clottey? Hatton? For cryin' out loud! I'd like to see Pacquiao fight Tim Bradley or Edwin Valero and Floyd fight Shane Mosley.

if these are the fights that really happen, do you think in any way floyd is taking the bigger challenge? or any challenge? or deserves to be paid for the effort?

Pac beating up on Bradley would be more impressive than Clottey but Floyed going after MATT no talent Hatton is a sick joke.

Agreed, they're about to go from making the biggest fight in 20 years to making two boring non-PPV worthy BS fights...Let's at least see Mayweather fight the Mosley/Berto winner and see Pacquiao-Valero...

Why would Pac be going after Clottey over Mosley. A Mosley fight would bring more money and a win over Mosley would do more for his legacy also. That is of course if Mosley gets past Berto, in which case a Clottey fight over a Mosley fight doesn't make business sense or resume sense.

Clottey isnt as low an opponent as M.Hatton or Paulie, but while Bradley is right here straight up saying 'lets fight', there is no excuse not to fight him.
