What if both Pac and Cotto were to just run around the ring and not fight? Is that what you want? What Cotto just runs? What if Pac just runs?
I don't think you're seeing the difference between "running" and boxing. Anyway, there's no chance of that happening. Both guys love to fight. On the other hand, do you think they should just run into each others punches like idiots, a la Ricky Hatton?:think
i basically agree with you 100% on almost all you said... but, I still slightly favor Pacquiao and would be surprised if he can't pull it off somehow.
That's true also. I think we expect the Pacman to do the unexpected these days. It's a hell of an accomplishment if he does pull it off somehow.
Either way, I can't wait for tomorrow night... I should go to bed now so it comes sooner! I love boxing... I can't wait for that moment right before the bell rings.
If you are going to pay big money for a fight, this one will probably be well worth it, but you never know in boxing.
LOL, I always get major anxiety for fights like this, right before the bell rings. I love it too though! :good
I see ways Pac can win, and if he did, it would be by decision I think like you're predicting. In the end, got to go with Cotto though.
Boxing conventional wisdom, does make sense to pick cotto....now apply the odds, styles, etc. to pacquiao-cotto....and what I come up with is 2 guys that will probably try and box instead of an all out war.....manny is going to be the more active fighter and if he has a connect rate of 30%, give or take.....he will most likely win the fight on points....cotto has a good chin, and I dont expect him to be KO'D....manny hasnt been stopped in over a decade, so the odds are slim there.....i think cotto has to win by KO, I see it tough for him winning a decision against pacquiao, but that's my call...
Manny hasn't fought more than once above 140lbs, he's never fought an opponent who can punch at 135lbs+, and he's definitely hittable. Add those ingredients together you have a good possibility he will be stopped.
Well, I think the opposite. Honestly I have to admit that I really dont have a ****ing clue, I've been wrong 1000 times before and I might be on this one. But my instincts are telling me PAC will win by KO on account of his power and speed. His speed is well known but what I saw against Hatton was some hard mother****ing hitting. I think he's still getting stronger at this weight, and he is hitting even harder proportionally at these weights that he was at the lower weights. I think when they size up in the ring people will be surprised at how minimal cotto's size antvantage is. If at all! Im predicting an ATG type performance by pac, where he just lands bombs at will on Cotto. And not Margarito/ Mosely type bombs that he could roll off, I mean crisp, fush shots that he doesnt see comming. PAC ko in 6. ^^
