No, I just don't want a month off. Fight's tough to call. I'm not missing a month in prediction league either!

I like your analysis. Cotto will win. Pacquiao will lose focus when he starts getting hit because he so constantly did so in both JMM fights. Roach had to remind him in every round not to let Marquez back him up, not to let Marquez take control of the fight. In the second one, he had no answer to Marquez's counters and at certain points in the fight, seemed really bothered by the punches and out of his rhythm.

nice I think ure dead on point Jeff. I know Pac is the favorite coming into this fight but really, beating Clottey is a much bigger win than Hatton at this point. Cotto is very dangerous and like the JMM fight, Pac will have to be on his toes every second of every round.

Freddy didn't seem to have much of a gameplan for Manny against Marquez - the following three fights are misleading because those guys didn't have the ability to upset Manny's gameplan.

Manny was getting countered and backed up every second round or so - if Cotto backs him up at all, how do you think that'll end for the little Filipino?

Cotto has never lost to a southpaw. He's never lost to a fighter with fast hands. He's never lost to a southpaw with fast hands. And he has fought them all.

Jeff is right about one thing. Pac is open to counter left hooks. In fact, Pac is regularly open to left hooks in general. If Cotto hits Pac with left hooks the way Oscar did in the early rounds, sorry folks, the show's over.

Miguell needs to let Pac play the agressor in the first few rounds. He needs to work off Pac's in and out movement. Pac comes in, time him with a good stiff jab, over hand right, close with a hook. Boxing 101, when done correctly, still beats a southpaw.

Anyway, with the fight this close I'm getting adrenaline rushes just talking about it.

    Good luck Pacman,

    But - - - -

    WAR COTTO!!!

    Head says Pac
    Heart says Cotto
I believe Cotto has to win by KO
    and I think he will.

I'm a huge Pacman fan and will be rooting for him but also see it how you see it. Yeah, if Pacman wins this fight, it should be considered one of the best wins of this decade despite that fact that he's nearly a 3/1 favorite.

Agree, the only shot Pac has is a quick early KO but I just don't see Cotto letting that happen, he's WAY too smart for that tactic, unlike Hatton. I see this as a tactical fight and don't think we'll see a real brawl because Pac wouldn't last toe to toe with Cotto. Cotto's a natural 147lb. fighter and will prolly come in tonight at around 154. Just a bigger man scenario in this one. My money's on Cotto.........sorry Pacman.
