Pacquiao vs. Crawford may yet happen

I am not so sure Manny can even beat Buakaw.
He should run through him despite being 45. But 45 is still 45 and with several years of inactivity at that.
Not that Buakaw is a spring chicken at 41.

 

PAc is crazy, but they will both makes tens of millions of dollars, so for their families it's great. For boxing fans...meh.

 

It would be akin to Larry Holmes vs Muhammed Ali.

 

Even a juiced Pacquiao would lose handily here. I have never been a Pacquiao fan but he was never the same after Marquez slept him. I mean Crawford is way more fierce than Marquez so what do you think is gonna happen? This just isn't safe IMO.

Even if Manny wants to come back I hope the sanctioning bodies will actually do their job and say no.

 

As a huge pac fan, I’d be gutted if this happened. He looked absolutely terrible against Ugas. Didn’t think he looked great against Thurman either tbh. Not sure why Crawford would even be interested in this fight, it’ll do nothing for his legacy if he is at all interested in making one for himself. He should be looking for big fights against real live opponents now.

The fight doesn't have any significance. I don't want to see Manny destroyed. Maybe 5-6 years ago. Now Manny is too old.

Terrible fight

 

Manny wasn't good enough three years ago to beat Ugas, he won't be nearly good enough for a competitive fight against Crawford now, he'll get dismantled quite easily. Time doesn't pass in vain.
