 Back tracking now?:patsch I thought b/c it was contracted at 147 that it was NOT a catch weight. At least that was your stance to support your original arguement.:rofl

    Idiot thread.

The fight was signed at 147 but Oscar wasn't allowed past 149 night come the night of the fight. Oscar obviously got down to 145 in order to re-hydrate himself a little come the day of the fight and it backfired. Oscar wouldn't have won if he'd have come in 147 and just added two in that day. He was a corpse, if he'd have been allowed to come in without limit and at his usual Welterweight same-day weight of around 153-154 it would have been different but he couldn't he didn't and it wasn't

that oscar was not allowed past 149 on fight night ? so the maximum he could come in the ring after the weigh in was 149?

not having a dig but this is the first time i have heard of that

Philla you are just being daft there or haven't read too much. That post wasn't even attacking or taking credit away from Pacquiao. I didn't say that Oscar would have won if he'd have came in properley hydrated i'm saying it would have been different ie. more competitive :good

I genuinely thought it was common knowledge that in the contract there was a clause stopping DLH from coming in above 149 on fight night :huh

Ok that maybe the case however that was what i'd heard and i've heard plenty of people saying there was the clause before and after.

If it wasn't the case then I look a tit now but I genuinely believed it to be true

Seriously? You believed Mayweather Snr too right?

Some jackass wannabe trainer made it up and the *****s ran with it. You read it here on ESB, where proof don't matter to make a thread.
