i already explained it dude. pac is taking the easiest way to a championship at 135. casamayor and campbell are much toughrer match ups for pac than diaz. it is what it is. and the pbf comparison is totally irrelevant. as i've also said, pac deserves an easy match after taking on his worst match possible at 130 with jmm

with marquez taking on casa in october, that means pac will probably fight campbell towards the end of the year if he manages to beat diaz. that is if they don't decide to take on hatton instead after diaz.

Cherrypicking? He's fighting a titleholder whos beaten Morales & Sta Cruz(Who beat Casamayor) on his first fight moving up in weight. Most fighters take tuneups first for that. See PBF, Hatton, Cotto.

i wish really there would be a unification at 135 this year. it would be fun seeing one man holding the wbo, ibf, wba, wbc and ring belts all at the same time. and 135 is the best place to wait becasue it could actually happen. 115 ranks second

Pac moves up and agrees to fight the weakest of the title holders at 135, WHat part of cherrypicking don't you understand:huh

well, it's his first fight @135 after all and this is after a very hard fight w/ jmm. if he beats diaz, he will take on either campbell or hatton after. i guess a lot of other fighters should be "cherry-picking" too like pac. :-(

pacteron....... if your bf's english is easier to understand then i guess we'll have peace in this world :D

nevertheless, another crying moments for you once pac becomes the 5 time world champion :rofl :rofl your stupidity will be exposed again once you started crying :yep a win is a win remember?? :good

you guys are taking too much away from diaz. we know your agenda. because if pac wins, then that will not give too much credit to pac. you are doing a preemptive strike here. your stupidity doesnt work here. its been always said in this forum that a win is a win. so please dont expose your stupidity in here pacteron :good

This is a good example of Pac being such an active boxer that he is accused of cherrypicking.

He is fighting David Diaz 3 months after having fought JMM

Compare that to JMM, who is probably fighting noone until at least October. Pacquiao will probably have another fight around that time as well. Pacquiao isn't a cherrypicker.

I think most people will agree that fighting David Diaz is harder than fighting noone.

Also, there are only 2 title holders at 135, so fighting the weaker of the 2 as a first fight at 135 is not cherrypicking. When people move up to a new weight class they often fight someone who is barely top15, that is cherrypicking.

and btw David Diaz would beat Casamayor.

If Pacquiao had taken a 6-8 month layoff, and then fought David Diaz as his first fight at lightweight, then you might make a case for him cherrypicking. But as things stand today, unfortunately for the haters you have no case whatsoever.

There are only 2 title holders at 135.

Do you expect Pacquiao to take on Campbell in his first fight at 135, only three months after defeating JMM?

Yet, JMM was challenging Campbell and looks like he will fight Casamayor. Enough with the double standards.

Casamayor is just as easy a fight as David Diaz. The guy is shot and just lost to Santa Cruz. David Diaz knocked out Santa Cruz by the way...

And also while Pac is fighting David Diaz, JMM is fighting noone. By the time JMM gets in the ring Pac will probably be getting in the ring for a third time this year against an even more difficult opponent.

And Pac has apparently challenged Campbell as well.

So it seems to me like you're the one with the double standards.

    :rofl

Now suddenly Casamayor is shot, after KTFO a good pressure fighter (an unbeatten and difficult one at that) in Katsidis.

    Oh please

If Pacquiao fights Casa then its of great praise and honor, but if JMM fights Casa it doesn't count because he is shot. :nut

Oh and BTW, this version of Casamayor would blow David Diaz out of the water.

well i actually predicted and bet money on Casa to beat Katsidis, and still realise that Casa is shot. Katsidis is not a very good fighter. Why did you completely ignore the fact that Santa Cruz JUST beat Casamayor, while David Diaz beat Santa Cruz

You are putting words in my mouth. I never said any of that.

Thats like if i responded to your post with something like

"If JMM fights David Diaz then its great praise and honor, but if Pacquiao fights David Diaz then it doesn't mean anything"

and then put a little emoticon next to it. bravo

Once again, Santa Cruz JUST beat Casamayor, while David Diaz beat Santa Cruz. Even Katsidis gave Casamayor the fight of his life. David Diaz would beat Casa, guaranteed.

Why don't you try actually responding to the main points of my posts, instead of changing the subject and putting words in my mouth.
