I think it's time you actually watched that fight:think

There's very few guarantees in boxing, and Diaz beating Casa is definitely not one of them:nono

Well the only thing that can defeat Pacquaio on this one is Pacquaio. It is a long haul from begining as a Flyweight all the way up to Full fledged Lightweight. If his punches have little effect on Diaz. And Diaz' blows have Pacquaio backing up it could get very interesting...

Actually, Diaz was being dominated by Santa Cruz but got lucky and KO'd him.

true. I disagree that a KO is lucky, but he was indeed being dominated.

you call Pacquiao a cherrypicker for fighting David Diaz three months after fighting JMM, but give JMM all this credit for fighting Casamayor, who just lost to Santa Cruz in November.

And JMM isn't even yet scheduled to fight Casa

    its either

    1) Pac hating
    2) Mexican pride

    or both

    1) I called Pac fighting Diaz cherrypicking, big difference:deal

    2) Where did I praise JMM for fighting Casa?(making things up again:patsch )

    3) Just cause I tell it like it is when it comes to any fighter doesn't mean I'm not a fan, learn the difference.

    4) You're ASSuming I'm mexican cause you ASSume I hate Pac or love JMM:think

    5) Don't hate just cause I busted you on that whole "..Diaz completely dominated Santa Cruz" B.S. you were trying to pull:lol:

Fighting Diaz doesn't mean he's cherrypicking.. He's gonna' end up fighting everyone else.. Diaz has a title, so he moves up to fight for that title while he could also see how he fares at 135lbs.. Can't just expect everyone to jump up to the next division and face the top dog right off the bat.. Give him time and the fights we want to see will come.. And to add, Arum made the fight.

Pac by decision, apparently this a tune up fight for Pac.
Nate Campbell and then Ricky Hatton (Hatton K.O Pac)

Any announcment by any fighter about an upcoming fight not yet hapening must be taken with a grain of salt. Unless the contract is signed, then it is nothing. In the past few weeks, many fighters are trying to jump to 135 like JMM and Guzman, even going as far as announcing fights against Casa, campbell, etc, etc.

Yet knowing the histories of these fighters, an announcement is just an announcement, nothing to it. Because in the end, they will be fighting the number 15th WBO ranked fighter for their title defense or a Jaca, Salido caliber fighter. I will bet my entire vcash that that would happen.

jmm is fighting either casa or campbell in october, 7 months after his fight w/ pac. on the other hand, pac is fighting diaz in june, just 3 months after a very hard fight w/ jmm. and apparently, pac has another fight in november w/ either campbell or hatton.

you give yourself way too much credit

first of all that post wasn't even addressed to you, it was addressed to 4Rounder

Secondly i never assumed you were mexican. In fact i know you are not Mexican since you've said it in exactly the same fashion to someone else. It seems you ASSumed i thought you were Mexican

You are delusional if you think you're a fan of Pacquiao. You are constantly downgrading him. Calling him a cherrypicker for fighting Diaz as his 1st fight at lightweight is rediculous, and not the sign of a fan or of someone who "Tells it like it is". Its the sign of someone who likes to spin facts in order to downgrade Pacquiao. Like all those haters who say Floyd has never fought anyone and all those idiots who say Calzaghe is a Euro stiff, you are the same thing for Pacquiao. You can call yourself a fan but you're lying to yourself. You probably hope he will lose every time he fights.

and as for the Diaz comment, go ahead and praise yourself all you want. It doesn't bother me in the least bit. It was but a small detail in my argument, and actually doesn't change any of it. And you are not the only one who pointed it out. But if you want to cling to that, then be my guest, but it doesn't make your point any more valid or mine any less.
