I for one felt it was a bad move for Oscar. Of course I didn't bet against him, he's my favorite fighter but had a feeling he was going to lose.
Its really funny to read people on here claiming they knew Pac was gonna win. If they were so sure then why didnt they bet the ranch on Pac?
This is how it is with haters. They don't hate the boxer, they hate the person. Therefore nothing can change their opinion on that person no matter what he does in the ring.
Irrelevant. Of course people looked at this fight before and thought Pacquiao didn't have a chance, moving up against a guy who just put in a good performance against Mayweather. Yet when people saw the weights on fight night and the first few minutes of the fight, everyone instantly knew that DLH was ****ed and Pacquiao would win. This fight is in no way contradictory to that statement, another calculated pick that has/had people fooled.
Not really. Was Roach to know DLH would be so dead at the weight? To some extent maybe, but not as much as he was. It was still a high risk fight. Also, was Roach to know DLH would be below 150 on fight night? No.
If you're referring to me, I did basically bet that Hoya would win, but I had a feeling this was a bad fight for him. I posted this on Maxboxing.com way back when since I wasn't a member here yet
