Remember people this is the same guy that said Ali/Wlad would be like Loma/GGG LOL, that's why Wlad completely obliterated Jennings who isn't even worthy of lacing Ali's shoes.

I just thought I would save the rest of you sensible posters the bother of typing what most of us are probably thinking.

I've been a PAC supporter from the moment I entered my $100 bet that he'd stop Barrera in their first fight

Both Manny and Freddie know how this fight ends. Silly discussion.

I love Manny, and I hope he wins on Saturday. But it is preposterous for anyone to seriously suggest that he beats Golovkin. I literally cannot picture any reasonable scenario where Manny beats GGG.

you have lost all credibility here. why is GGG below Manny in P4P list? even though he has 19 straight KO's? i guess forget RING and let;s use you as the official P4P ranking authority.

not true that most believe Manny would KO Khan. Most believe that would be tough fight. Cause you say so? ok, i forget you are the authority around here
wrong many times over. Why does he still not get the respect of RING in P4P list? and if you have cared to watch him fight, the guy gets hit a ton more times than Manny does. He has many flaws, just so happens his strengths are plentiful but he hasn't quite faced any elites lately has? name me one. WHERE IS THE PROOF THAT GGG CAN BEAT ELITE FIGHTERS? Manny has beaten many many more elite fighters than GGG - FACT! IRREFUTABLE. Oh, will you bring up the amateurs now?
says who? you? I disagree than GGG can effortlessly corner Manny. I've seen big fighters try it and fail miserably. GGG is no freaking fluid quick mover and no, he wouldn't have n easy time cornering him.
IF GGG can land, he has NEVER EVER faces someone so fast... EVER.

a clean punch by a welterweight, especially when manny is actually lunging into the punch, can do a lot more damage than a GGG punch that doesn't land cleanly. You are making the assumption that GGG will land clean shots, easier said than done. GGG is NOT FAST and manny is lightening fast. It will not be easy. Manny also can take a punch. Cotto and others landed some big shots and Manny took them. Of course, even GGG would get KO'd the f out of JMM had landed such a punch on GGG moving into the perfectly timed punch. I think Manny is just too quick and would fight cautiously, GGG would not land big shots easily...if at all.

Clottey was around 20 lbs heavier than Manny on fight night, did it matter? Margarito was much heavier too, if i recall. Granted GGG has more power but weight alone, isn't a big deal. Canelo outweighed Floyd by a ton on fight night didn't he? Again, i don't see much issue there.

    4.
    so what?

wrong he's not a superior fighter, AT ALL. GGG looked somewhat terrible in his last fight, but his chin held up and he look like he had more flaws than a 18 year old Manny. Murray didn't have the power to KO a gannady that had weak defense and Murray was slow too.

thinking Manny has no shot is a decent opinion, what's moronic is how some have tried to argue it. You at least took the time to break it down... BUT i vehemently disagree with almost everything you said. We agree that GGG is a good fighter who is bigger than Manny and has a lot of power, that's pretty much it.

I guess you and I have completely different opinions on a fight that will never be made.

    we do, which is fine.

Fight will probably never happen because Manny, win or lose May 2nd, will probably retire soon. I think the fight wouldn't have been that far fetched 5-6 years ago.

I remember when Manny faced Oscar many thought it was murder and when some brought up Margareito,. everyone laughed. Manny went right through them. I understand GGG is a different animal but at 154, who knows. I don't think Roach would've allowed it. It's more of a dream match-up for me, they are my 2 favorite fighters and very exciting to watch. Unlike you though, i don't view GGG as this perfect technically flawless fighter; i didn't like how he looked vs Murray. He did enough to get stoppage but he gets hit too much. He's not super fast either... He also really hasn't fought any elite fighters, not his fault but i consider GGG unproven yet, even with 19 KO streak. I would like to see him vs Cotto or Ward, although i fear ward may make GGG look totally inadequate.

Maybe put a little too strongly, but Ward is the only man I favor against GGG from 154-168. All depends on whether Ward can still make the weight and how he looks after the layoff. The referee would play a big roll in that fight too.
